  1. lol, experimental he is. I dont know if I will work on him more. He is not my priority now. I was just having some fun. The model of my dad in the wip section is my real project right now. And I wanna start on some two game modeling soon.
  2. fixed the seam and some bad spots. Worked on the ear.
  3. I tried out texture mapping my dad today. Here he is with and without glasses. I think he looks better with out them. I need to make better glasses. The rims are too thick. I have a seam on the side of the neck. I'll work that out. Hows it look?
  4. The scales are just the cellular plugin material with bump applied.
  5. Hi I dug up an old fish model and started messing around with materials and lighting and rendering and stuff. Hows it look? I put on ambient occlusion but I don't know if it made a difference.
  6. Awesome spiderman. His leg pose looks a little femine but his rocking web spinning hand makes up for it. Great job.
  7. That is really great. Too bad animation master doesnt get credit. In the tags it says flash, ugh!
  8. Looks nice so far. Not that much character animation to comment about yet, I guess you'll have more when it gets into the story. So are you doing this as a project for animation mentor? Or just a side thing?
  9. That is really awesome. I feel bad for that kid, there is no exit from the rollercoaster. Is this an existentialist statement?
  10. reminds me of a character I made a long time ago. It looks fun.
  11. He is funny. The hair looks pretty weird on the body, I'd mess around with the settings.
  12. Thanks for coming guys. I had a good time. I know you guys traveled a long way and I appreciate it. Thanks for explaining ambient occlusion and the features mike. I enjoyed zack's cell phone movie that we watched made with ambient occlusion. Thanks Duke for the delicious pineapple curry dish. It will be my dinner tonight too Thanks guys!
  13. Cute character. I like him with a little belly, gives him a humorous look. The porcelain really helped. Nice work.
  14. Good job viper. Can't wait to see this guy in action.
  15. Thanks folks I wasn't going to do a texture map. I was gonna leave him kind of like a cartoon. But now I am inspired to texture him from the comments. I will make a texture map today. I'll post soon.
  16. Hi The NYNJA BBQ is being heald at my house in holbrook on long island on June 25th at around noon. The usual suspects have already responded and it should be a fun event. If there is anyone else in the New York area that would like to attend let me know. There is room for any a:m user who wants to come. Respond here or e-mail me at countfrogula@yahoo.com and I will send you the info. This is a cool group so try to make it if you can.
  17. Hey that looks great. I really like him!
  18. That's my dad. You mean my image or viper's? I don't think its too hard to believe I made the model of my dad. It's not amazing or anything I think. Yep, I made it.
  19. Thanks! My dad doesn't play congas in real life but he will in my animation. It is just a joke because he calls my mom babaloo. Thanks steve, If you are having trouble making things be sure to use tutorials that fit what you're doing when you make something from the A:M Resource Matrix. I used the cooper tutorial technique for this head. If you follow a good technique it will go quick and come out better.
  20. I finished the fathers day card. I had this on the front on nice photo glossy surface and a fathers day message inside. My dad really loved it. Thanks for the comments guys. I wasn't sure if the model stunk or not.
  21. Got a real slow start today, but added some hair.
