Hi I got a request at the 3dfrog store to make this model. I had a lot of fun making it. I am quite happy with it. Attached are some pics and a movie of it in action. The animation isn't so great, it is just something quick to show her in action. Comments and criticisms are welcome. Yep, its my dad model again. I did some updates and here he is. I think he is done now. I finished the rig, I do want to put some lip synch poses in him though. So here he is in just a stiff pose but you see how he is. Any comments? suggestions? Edit: updated picture with changes

Looks good lori. Your sky is most likely black due to the alpha buffer being on when you rendered to quicktime. In the render dialoque click advanced, open the buffers menu and set the alpha buffer to off.

select the bone in the project workspace or modeling window. You will see this option in the properties window.

Hi Someone requested a version of my Sig Frog that can talk. So I made a version with a moving mouth with phonemes. I also added moving and blinking eyes and rigged the fingers. This was fun to do. Attached is a movie of the frog doing the famous I've got a secret dialogue. There is a part where the left hand gets jittery. For some mysterious reaon the left hand flipped around on me at one frame. I checked the curves on the elbow and the hand and everything looked ok. I fixed it up with a few keyframes. I am using the 2001 rig from thom. I used IK arms. anyone know why this happened? Thanks for looking. Let me know what you think of the frog. frogsecret.mov

Thanks guys, yeah I'd like to have him do some tricks and adventures when I get the time. Yeah dan, he does kind of look like the gecko, i never thought of that before. although the gecko doesnt have fancy clothes like my frogman

I redid my frogman's rig with tsm2 and made some adjustments to him. He is actually manageable now. Here's a pic of him looking happy with his new rig.
