  1. That is very cool! Hey was that flipper?!?!
  2. I think it's very good! I wish I could stride like that!
  3. Still good. Not sure about that space behind his eyes though.
  4. Love it. Hanging on to his hat is a great touch!
  5. Here, check out this tut. http://www.geocities.com/mestela/drifttut/index.html It will get you headed in the right direction.
  6. Keyframe the character into the same position later in the timeline. Then go into the curves editor and peak the points at each end of the still time.
  7. It looks a little spline heavy. You could probably lose about 1/4 of them.
  8. Still looking good. The head looks like its not splined to the body. Is that intentional?
  9. Possible tweeks: Adjust kerning. Adjust motion. Too many changes in direction.
  10. Nice job Heath! I watched it with the sound off. Very fluid and natural. He looks like a friendly robot. Kinda Gomer Pyle like.
  11. It's behind schedule, but looking fantastic. The modelers are almost done. Dusan and others are doing amazing work. It will be well worth the wait.
  12. I really like the exagerated features. Size variations like this are important in setting your characters apart. The chin is stylistically unique (which is good) from my experience. I don't have cable TV. The two characters are stylistically similar too. Very nice. I'm looking forward to seeing your characters develop.
  13. Please keep posting examples. These are beautiful.
  14. The eyes look like they are attached to the other splines. If you plan to have them move, they should be separate .

Could you post a screen shot of the problem area?
  16. CDs are .aif files. You can export them to .wav files in Quicktime Pro.
  17. Looks good. Shaded spline view please.

Hit the tilde key (~) with the CP held over the spline. It should be in the upper left corner of your keyboard.

  20. Icarus can help. It's an old freeware camera match/tracking software that can be used with A:M if you want to have moving cameras. There are some old copies floating around that will work. I'd stay away from green screen in A:M. It's much easier to use alpha channel output. You might want to start out with composites that use locked down cameras in both worlds. It makes compositing a lot easier. There are some good tutorials out there. I did the one (certainly not the best) on the 2003 Siggraph tape. It's about using a locked down video camera.
  21. Perhaps like the attached file, but with different levels of transparency. And not so many interations.
  22. Greetings William. I'm looking forward to seeing your skills develop.
