  1. Wow! The same car I want parked in my garage. I'm looking forward to seeing this completed.
  2. flashawd, A few years back I went through the same sort of problem solving that you're going through now . . . putting a looping texture on a surface. I tried it several ways, but the easiest for me was to just bring the targa sequence that I wanted to loop into Quicktime Pro and save it with Animation compression. The file size was noted. I then copied everything from the Quicktime timeline, put the playhead at the end and pasted several times until I had the amount that I needed for the animation. Then hit "save," not "save as." Amazingly, the file size did not change. All that was left to do was bring in that movie as a decal, and apply it to the surface. Works great!
  3. Dhar, Lipsync is looking pretty good! In my opinion: I think you could get a lot more impact if this was not just a soliloquy, but an exclamation to the viewer/audience. So, talking and looking (sometimes) at the viewer, not just talking to himself. And, how about . . . . . . a little anticipation time/action before he makes his verbal delivery. This also gives him some thinking time. . . . having his shoulders down to indicate sadness. . . . shoulders up during "I can't rewrite what's perfect." Then, down again. . . . bringing his hand up sooner, before "It's unbelievable." . . . a little breathing motion with the chest and/or shoulders. . . . a head tilt to the side too, not just forward. . . . keeping his brows up during "It's unbelievable." . . . his head shaking "no" as he's saying "It's unbelievable." . . . keeping the brows down while he's saying "The director . . . of my music!" . . . lips close together a bit before ". . . rewrite what's perfect." . . . brow staying up during "I can't rewrite what's perfect." But that's just me. : ) Wow, you've got a whole week to finish this! Cool!
  4. Wow! Great tutorial. Thanks for putting that together!
  5. Love the hand drops! Ha! Now there's too much brow movement. suggested tweaks: Lead with the brows to show thinking before he speaks. Change brows before the individual sections of his little soliloquy but not during. He's drifting downward until about frame 67 for some reason.
  6. Looking good! Love the little mouth sneer at one point. Suggested tweaks: Get into position on the consonants before they are said instead of staying in your open neutral positions so long. Less jaw/teeth movement. More eye movement. Some darting. More work on the brows to show consternation. Some breathing.
  7. Gotta second that. Animation compression is the only one that has ever worked for me as a decal on a Mac.
  8. Looks very good from what I can see. Could you post one with not as much compression. The compression artifacts are clouding the view.
  9. So beautiful! Hopefully you'll be rendering a big one for desktop backgrounds around the world.
  10. Well, since my baby left me, I found a new place to dwell. Its down at the end of lonely street At heartbreak hotel. You make me so lonely baby, I get so lonely, I get so lonely I could die.
  11. Yes, nice job! It cleary shows off the product's feature.
  12. Bård, This is looking very good! I'm looking forward to seeing more.
  13. Very nice work. Keep posting. Inspirational.
  14. Really a nice start. It has a great feel to it. I love the wing gesturing. Just a thought, how about if she's a cat. Maybe that's a bit cliche. Hmmm.
  15. Wow! And wow again! You are an inspiration for sure. Keep 'em comin'.
  16. Nope. You need the CD. But, you can eject the CD after A:M is open.
  17. Ha, and oops. I didn't realize I hadn't set my gender. At least I use my real photo. Wells5150, All kinds in of people in here, just like the real world. Enjoy us and welcome again. Hope to watch your growth in years to come. Dan Johnson
  18. Sure. Just turn off anything you don't want rendered and then turn on alpha in buffers on output.
