  1. You can make a section of fence, then use an Action to place instances of that section where you want multiple times.
  2. Great stuff, Mark!
  3. Looks great Terry! In case anyone needs a section of fence, I added one here: https://www.hash.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=38357&p=411592
  4. Here is a section of chain link fence if anyone needs it. chain_link_fence_segment.mdl
  5. Looks great, John!
  6. You probably have already done this, but, have looked at the normals by checking the "Options/Modeling/Display normals" box?
  7. http://www.virtualdub.org/ can convert TGA's to an AVI (it's free) https://www.blackmagicdesign.com/products/fusion can convert image sequences to a video (get the free version...Windows, Mac and Linux) https://www.blackmagicdesign.com/products/davinciresolve can convert image sequences to video (get the free version...Windows and Mac) Hope that helps, Richard.
  8. He's going to be a mascot for something a friend of mine is doing. He's supposed to be Ham, the first chimp in space (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ham_(chimpanzee))...although I have taken quite a bit of creative license with the design.
  9. Looks great, Marc!
  10. Once again...a "stay alive" post. I've been working some on the chimpanzee, but not enough of anything that I can show. I have mainly been trying to get some decent shoulder/bicep deformations before I texture. I'm going to try to knock it out this week...we'll see how it goes.
  11. The only thing I can see that might appear wrong is that I think you have "Show Back Facing Polys" turned off...I think that's why some of the patches around a couple of the character's eyes aren't showing up.
  12. Do you have the AVX version installed or the non-AVX version? Have you checked to make sure you have the latest drivers for your video card installed? Are you using Windows 10 (sometimes things hang when Win10 is installing an update in the background...it never tells me when it's doing it either)? Have you tried "Help/Reset Settings"? Have you tried adjusting your "Tools/Options/OpenGL3" settings? A clean install of A:M is another option. I thought about Onion Skin being on, but that doesn't affect anything for me while in the modeling window, and you don't have Mirror Mode turned on....that's all I can think of to try.
  13. Congrats, Simon!
  14. Very generous, Kevin!
  15. I've always thought of the flour sack like this setup...the "arms" can be thought of as arms or as ears depending on what is needed for the shot (and can be used both ways in the same clip in my mind). I made a very simple animation with this rig here: https://www.hash.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=33048&p=377570 Hope that helps, Paul.
  16. Still working on the chimpanzee when I have a spare moment. I've got his face rigged and started to mess with his teeth, gums, tongue, throat and skin. I've still got some spline rings to add in other locations, but I wanted to see if I could get something decent. Here is the chimp without hair at the moment...still need to do a lot of texturing, I was just trying to establish a base.
  17. I'm back in San Antonio after a twenty-two year stay in Austin.
  18. It's been a very busy couple of weeks (changed cities and everything that goes with that), so I'll have to use a "stay alive" post. When I've had a spare few minutes, I've been updating the Squetch Rig while rigging the space chimp. I fixed a few issues and added a little more to the eyelid setup...still some things to go over, but I'm slowly working my way through it. If I'm lucky, I'll be able to show something in a couple of weeks.
  19. Looks great, John!
  20. Looks great, Paul!
  21. Great stuff, Gerald!
  22. Great stuff!
