Gene, I might have to agree with others here and say this might be your best one to date. Your volumetric work in this one added a nice flair. Well done indeed ----and stubborn? more like your hard working! Nice one.
Congrats to all the winners -----very awesome stuff indeed. And Robert your not exactly Al Capone maybe MH would make an awesome Mascot some version. Also Nancy- your renders color's are vibrant and stunning. Xtaz your cottage scene is right out of a fairy tale indeed--nice. Inspiration from all of you.
welcome MikeV --do hope your return visit to AM is going to help you tell your story as you would like. I think there is something to be said about choosing the tool that gets the job done. AM ---has no equals when it comes to telling a story and value. And with some work and lots of practice -----I think one can achieve results that would make the more "professional?" apps feel extremely overpriced.
Kwhitaker-
Hey! that looks pretty cool.....I do like the Mist or haze ---it adds a certain ambiance that helps in taking some of the the 3d look away. I think its a nice little scene for sure. thanks for sharing.
JohnL-------yikes -------if i stare at that too long might get hypnotised and do something stupid like cut the lawn. - Pretty interesting though ----thanks for sharing.
Welcome back Reuben------always good seeing folks returning to AM after a break or so. It kind of speaks well of the tool itself that keeps folks coming back. And I have to agree for indie animator/filmmaker (especially solo or small group) there really is no competition for character based story and considering the price point---its just so far in a league by itself indeed.
Tralfaz-
All the others give great points. Just to chime in ----if you liked 13 then you will love 16. I went from 12 to 16 and It is like a brand new deal. Besides the extra functionality that is really nice......It just renders faster and is just more solid in all the nook and crannys. If you are going to do anything in AM in the future -----getting the subscription to 16 is highly recommended.
Pretty cool looking johnL ----although i think one would need to slow that down a real lot to be more closer to the speed of a lava lamp which kinds of flows in a rather slow and morphing way.
Outstanding little video Robert-------- very nice job explaining some more continuity spline issues that seem so baffling for us less experienced. This made things so much clearer . Thanks again.
