  1. Ernesto, Nice work! I finally got to see your work on your site too... I like! It took a bit of work to get to see the animations... Save Target as didn't work for me... Another way to view is to copy the link that shows up when you click on the link... (quickly before it forwards you to a new page). Then paste the URL into your address bar.
  2. Ma'am, Very Nice! I think Ken Baer will like that one as he is a big Tex Avery fan! Your wolf reminds me of his work. Without the crazy eye popping 'takes' that is... Any chance you could post a still or two? *Whoops.... you already did!! Thanks that was quick! Really nice modeling and animation! I like it!

Vince, Nice work! I really don't have anything to suggest as you are moving along quite nicely. Just wanted to say "Looking Good"! Keep it up!
  4. Parlo, Kevin is Awesome! All those hours watching the Muppets DVDs is really paying off! There is a lot to be said about how you've set up Kevin and your pictures and description excellently show us a good bit of that... It took me a while to warm up to the coffee loving "long face guy" but Kevin is instance access likeable! You've really got the feel for this animation thing. When they finally meet up... whoa... this is gonna be good! Don't stop now!!!
  5. I thought I remembered reading a request for your guitar rendered out via Arctic Pigs..... looked through the posts and didn't find it... knew it had to be there.... so looked again... and there it was.... a request from Ed Lynch! I second that request... This would look awesome in Arctic Pigs format. Hope you can experiment with it and get it to load for you. Hurry back from vaction!!! You have more splining to do!
  6. Wade, Impressive! Looks just like a few real world recreations I've seen. You've already go a lot of good detail. With texturing... It'll deserve a prominant place in a display case. What plans do you have for it?
  7. WOW! That is all..... just......WOW! Please tell us you are planning to do an animation with him!!!
  8. Just a word of encouragement from the other Baker! Hope you find some interested folks in Indiana. How far are you away from Chicago? Looks like they've been meeting there almost every month for the past two years.
  9. Phil, I"m from Illinois (downstate) and do get back there occassionally. Glad to know you are active there. I was born in the suburbs of Chicago and lived there for a short while again just prior to joining the service. I'll definitely mark the first Saturday of each month as a good time to fly into Chicago and visit relatives! With a little luck maybe I could crash even one of your meetings. So did Justin Barrett or any of the Big Idea gurus ever make it to a meeting?
  10. Wow Frank! Your work is awesome! There are a lot of things that make me want to model my own stuff... like almost everything I see in real life everyday! I see things and say... wow... I wanna model that! Then I see modeling such as yours that makes me want to give up modeling altogether and just hire out my projects to artists in the A:M Community! I'd hire you!!!
  11. Yes!Yes!Yes!Yes!Yes!Yes!Yes!Yes!Yes!Yes! ThankYou! ThankYou! ThankYou! ThankYou! ThankYou! Those are just awesome! BRAVO! Oh... and in case I forgot to mention it... thanks!
  12. Awesome write up John, Almost felt like I was there! Keep up the good work and best of luck to MAAMUG in the future!
  13. Don wrote: Wow! You guys are scaring me! I'm gonna have to see what I can do about a trip east... I'm told Vern is funnier in person too... and I'm having a hard time believing that... so I might consider a trip just to see for myself! Mike: Nebraska doesn't seem very far away at all when you consider the entirety of the A:M Community and how far we are all dispersed. It seems quite close. We'll definitely have to chart out a plan for connecting if possible. Dare to dream eh? Local and regional groups gathering together as often as possible. Traveling Users Groups/members meeting at tradeshows, conventions, and..... SIGGRAPH!!! Wow.... that sounds nice!
  14. WOOO HOOO That's one possible 'guest' member from another A:M Users Group! Can't type now... I have to scout meeting locations!!!
  15. Wow a new Room.... and what a view! Anyone in the Denver/Colorado area who might care to get together to discuss A:M and related interests please feel free to post in this thread! There are only a few that I know of in the area... but I have to ask!
  16. Always love your stuff and now even more reason to like you!!! Great information and materials... Thanks! In the past I did a bit of testing but never really found the ideal setting for the comic book feel I was after at the time. Who knows I might someday try again! Reguardless, I wanna use your silver material to have a bit of fun with! More Please!
  17. Heiner, I think you need to crank up one of the settings... I cannot recall which one. Maybe it was transparency.... drat.... can't remember. Right click on the decal and look for some setting that might do the job.
  18. That looks like a real winner! The combination of photo bacgrounds and CG mice is really working for you. I'm looking forward to seeing more... and of course the final short itself! Bravo!
  19. You guys always crack me up! Excellent work as always. Bravo!
  20. Your work reminds me a lot of some really classic art. I've had a scene (background) from "Metropolis" as my desktop image for a few months... the longest I've ever kept the same image. I may have to update that one to include your imagery. When I was but a lad I dreamed of being able to make such cities... now that A:M has made it possible... I've lost some of that youthful energy and am not as inclined to dream in those same ways. Your world certainly satisfies that youthful need! Well done! I'm looking forward to hearing more about your project.
  21. Whoaaa... That is.... wow! Sorry I missed you in the chatroom... I arrived home from work about a minute after you left. Probably a good thing the movie producers didn't see that or they would have said you would have to put it in the Castaways movie as an homage/parody piece!!! Keep posting PLEASE!!!
  22. Looks like Gerry from Pixar's Gerry's Game and Toy Story 2!
  23. Ultra Cool! I really like him even untextured. I know your concentration is on modeling and I can say it looks like you've really got modeling down. Textures will make what is awesome... incredible. Maybe you could team up with a texture guru and combine your efforts. That might be worth the effort. Much success to you in your efforts DinoCarl!
