largento Posted May 21, 2015 Posted May 21, 2015 I've already shared this on Facebook, but thought I'd add it here. My nephews (ages 7 and 9) have asked me to help them make a movie over the summer break. It's called "Cow Wars" because I guess to 7 and 9 year olds, cows are funny. :-) I've no doubt it's going to be a struggle to get them to focus on doing anything on their side, so I decided to be pro-active and modeled this Cowtrooper. If I can wrangle them and their expectations, I think it'll be fun to shoot the kids and their friends on green screen and insert them into the movie. 1 Quote
Fuchur Posted May 21, 2015 Posted May 21, 2015 Looks very cool Star Wars is very cool these days again, since Disney is making a new one... the daughter of a friend of mine is very much into it too and I modelled something with her too out of the Star Wars universe. (very basic and noot close that cool... she is 8 . Looking forward seeing this one . See you *Fuchur* 1 Quote
Hash Fellow robcat2075 Posted May 21, 2015 Hash Fellow Posted May 21, 2015 Those look very amusing! The knee looks like it needs more room to bend. 1 Quote
Wildsided Posted May 21, 2015 Posted May 21, 2015 Don't you mean a-moo-sing Robert? It is udderly impressive. Yay for Cow puns. 2 Quote
largento Posted May 22, 2015 Author Posted May 22, 2015 Thanks, all! Robert, I'll probably have to adjust things when I rig him. Right now, I'm not planning to do any heavy animation for this. I'm hoping to convince them that Cow Wars should mostly be a space battle. Quote
Hash Fellow robcat2075 Posted May 22, 2015 Hash Fellow Posted May 22, 2015 I like Nemyax's AT-AT idea. It would be cool to have the kids fighting an AT-AT that was stomping around your neighborhood. Quote
largento Posted May 22, 2015 Author Posted May 22, 2015 Sounds like a great idea for the sequel they make when they are teenagers and Uncle Mark is retired. :-) Quote
Dpendleton77 Posted May 22, 2015 Posted May 22, 2015 I am sure this will be a great moo-vie(argh). I am liking the trooper. Quote
