Nice interview!

You've had quite the round of experience, that's for sure.

Curious, did you ever find out why the entire web team walked out for that one job? I went into a similar situation and, when I found out something like that had happened, I thought "oh boy what am I getting myself into".

Thanks for the comments! MikeV, no I never did find out what went on, everyone still there was kind of "the walking wounded" and the new freelancer doesn't get to ask many questions! I definitely had the same reaction, but it was a gig, whatcha gonna do? I just kept my head down and did the work.

"The Walking Wounded" - I like that heheh :)

And yeah, it's bad enough being something of a potential scapegoat when you're freelancing/contracting. It's best to not get too nosy in those situations.

A fine interview and good plug for A:M!

It probably doesn't mean anything, but I found it funny (as in "odd funny") that though Gerry brings up A:M at least 3 times in the course of that article, indicating it as an important part of his work, that it's excluded in the reference tags at the bottom. Yet, things that are mentioned only once and/or in passing are included.

I'm not crying "conspiracy!", and it takes nothing anything away from the interview. I just find the omission to be a bit curious.
