  1. Thanks Rodney. Here he is with the finished shirt, although I might add bottons to the collar and detail the cuffs more.
  2. If you select one line between cps and hit the "," key it will select all the cps that are connected in a ring or line.
  3. Your head is looking great. Just remember to tweak the heck out of it to get it smoother. You may also want to remove entire spline rings once you have it finished to make it smoother.
  4. Man, I wish I could build a town. It's looking great so far.
  5. This is really coming along. I think I would try using an alpha hair image for the hair.
  6. Haha, awesome! I love the claymation look anf feel of those guys.
  7. I've got to see this final animation! You are giving me so many ideas on how I can screw up my pc, haha. Good to see ya back.
  8. I agree that you should get rid of some of those vertical splines. Other than that, I like your unique splinage. Espesially the forehead area. I like it.
  9. Yeah, I know people are probably sick of me posting slight variations of the same image, but I can't help myself. I saw the "original" version on my tv and liked the way it looked. So I uped the the contrast and added a bump for the webbing. I am now thinking I might do a single "swingshot" with this spidey. I still could use some help on what rig people think I should try to install for spidey. Which one do people think would be best for this character?
  10. Your characters have come along way. I also can't wait to see what happens .
  11. DOn't take this as gospel, because it's been awhile, but I was just reduce the Hair amount alot then style with the hair splines, then increase the amount of hair. That way to can style your hair with minumum fuss and muss? I might be totally wrong on that. It's been awhile since a messed with hair. I'll be doing it with my Conner character fairly soon so I will post my result with the hair for me .
  12. Well, I only had the problem of invisa-5s once. I used the example above, which I usually use to just get me decals to display correctly in real time, and it worked to get rid of the problem. I haven't had that problem since and don't know what caused it.
  13. I was going to say that this happens to me in 14c. My workaround for this (this alslo fixes the "bluriness" i get on my model in realtime) is to have the edit of my decal up, go to the model, render a bit of the model, hit the exit button on the keyboard, move to look at the edit of my decal, which shouldn't be blurry now, then I move back to my model. It should leave you with a perfect looking decal on your model in realtime, although 5-pointers may still be a bit "swirly".
  14. Not much of an update, but I changed some of the bump and reflectivity to get a look closer to what I wanted. I also did an "original" just ot see what it would look like with all the webbing. Thanks for looking. I think I'm going to start work on my Conner character again for a little while.
  15. No, that big birds cousin, awesome avian!
  16. Thanks for the replies everyone. I don't think I will ever animate him for the simple reason that I have no skill, haha. I can't even rig, so it's probably never going to happen. Also I don't know how the textures would stand uo to animation. I was thinking of a good action still. All the pics I see Spidey in are alwasy swinging. I think I'll make my version of Venom and make a good action still. Thanks again. I might see if I can rig him with squetchy, but I don't know which version would work for me.
  17. First of all excuse the left hand being cut out of two of the images, I forgot to fix that before it was too late. Also forgive me if this idea has already been used. It's just to help give me ideas for images. I really don't follow comics that much -- even though I love comic book super heroes, haha. The Terrific Spider-man The world is if filled with horror and wonder since the technology of Gateways has been discovered. These Gateways can open to worlds of paradise, or dimensions of terror. To places familiar, or to places utterly alien. Richard and Mary Parker were scientists working for Oscorp, one of the companies to take advantage of this technology before it was banned worldwide from use. In one dimension Richard was either given, or he took, an alien suit. Nothing is known of how this suit ended up in the Parker's Attic, but that is where Peter finds it years later -- and puts it on. His parents have been dead for years. It was said they were killed on an alien world by the evil inhabitants. Now he has this suit with wonderful abilities (first suit pictured). Peter himself has no power himself, but the suit makes him powerful. He decides to call himself Spider-man for the spider-like logo on the suit. He finds that when he is in a defensive postion, or needs to be more stealthy, his suit will go dark and harden, yet still be flexible (the second suit pictured). When his suit is in this form it is better than kevlar and will hold up to exteme pressures -- but only for short times. All of his enemies are either using illegal alien tech or have been possessed by daemons from other dimensions. Although the Gateway technologies have been banned they are still used illiegally, and sometimes Gateways will spontaneously emerge from the aether and cause chaos on the world. Later in his adventures Peter's suit is infected by an alien virus. Little did he know, but his suit was a living organism that has now been possessed by a daemon (third suit pictured). Thinking he will lose his powers, he doesn't want to lose the suit, but finally finds a way to rid himself of it. Because of his contact with the daemon suit the powers of the suit are transfered to him. In fact, he can call up the suit from his very skin. He now can use any one of the suits he wants. That's the very besic idea of my new universe. I didn't want to write a book, haha. I have also posted a picture of my UV setup. It didn't turn out perfect, but making all that webbing is freaking hard. I now need some help on picking a villain for the final image I will make. I will be using the red-blue suit for the image, but I might blend parts of the dark one (not the black one) into it. I know the red-blue suit is much darker than the original, but I wanted the darker look for a darker universe. Remember whatever villain I pick will either be monstrous in some respect, or using alien tech, or both. Thanks for looking .
  18. That bus is looking good. Are you planning on adding any grundge?
  19. The transfer looks pretty good. I don't see a problem with this type of thing. I know others would like to see A:M used for everything, but that model looks pretty good and now you can animate him in A:M . When I first got into A:M I used to use alot of Bryce and Poser with it.
  20. These leaves are fantastice looking. Is that a cookle-cut render? The lighting is excellent.
  21. I love those uniforms! I think it's looking pretty good so far, but you need to get the trek 'burns going on him. Right now they're looking a little messy .
  22. Thanks alot for the comment, Rodney. You are correct with the webbing. Since I'm going for a new universe look I decided to screw with the costume a little, that included the webbing layout. I decided to mirror the top and bottom face webbing just because I like the look better. It's the same reason I changed the back area as well -- I just felt like it,haha. I will probably be adding a light airbrushing to accentuate the muscles even more toward the end of my decaling. Thanks again for the comment.
