  1. Hey Dark, this is excelent news. I have been waiting to here you are getting back to the building that game. Can't wait to see it done.
  2. Not the easiest thing to build a character with four arms. It looks great.
  3. Haven't posted in awhile, but had to on this one. I was just thinking of doing a cave trol, but you beat me to it . Excellent. I can't tell you how impressed I am with you bump mapping. Great Job.
  4. Wow, I am impressed. I especially like that extra leg bounce at the end.
  5. Nice character. Though the sweater keeps making me think of Mr. Rogers . THe ani looks god to me, but ani isn't my forte.
  6. Hey OzTiff, it's looking really good so far. Good luck, and remember to keep tweaking to get it where you want it. Art is never done.
  7. THe cheast is looking alot smoother. I sometimes do that as well; giving more splines than needed, before cleaning put the geometry. It's looking awesome.
  8. Thanks Parlo. That boyishness was just what I was going for. Just by sticking them out a little it gives him that look. Thanks for the compliments and noticing that boyishness .
  9. I've got a rig in him, but still have to run him through the STM. I darkened his skin and changed his ears to make them more realistic. I am surprised how much better I like it. I just finished my first week at a new job working 55 hours -- ugh! So I haven't got as much time to work on this. Hopefully I will have a posed version before the end of the weekend. Comments appreciated.
  10. Jim: THat's awesome that you fond Abe. I loved that guy since I first saw that on your site. I am also still surprised you did so well on that animation. If I was the jealous type I would telly you, "You Suck!", but I'n not. So I'll just say -- um -- "You Suck!" . Chris: I think the splinage is fine for you ear. Especially if you are trying to make it realistic.
  11. Great googily moogily. That is awesome cloth ani. I do agree it could be a little stiffer, but it is better than the cloth from Matrix 2 in my opinion.
  12. Great Splinage Dark. SHe looks perfect. I want to see what texture you have planned.
  13. I actually like the back of the neck. I think the chest is too boxt and pointy on the bottomw outside corners. It is looking awesome, especially the collarbones.
  14. The color is great, but what I like is the shading. How did you get that shading so great? is it just lights, or is it another mat ontop of all that great color?
  15. Hey thekamps, I would really like to see you finish this one. I liked it since the first time I saw it.
  16. You have to remember that to have a good reflectivity to your reflective surface you have to have something to reflect. Otherwise it will only reflect the edges and the color of you modeling area. Do it in a chor with something in the background a good lighting you should have something.
  17. Thanks Jim. I just started rigging him, so the next update will probably be a posed pic.
  18. I'd also like to see 3/4th version of the character. Will it have feet?
  19. That gap wpn't show up when you render it. It will look like that pre-rendered though. I would make those eyes super reflective with a goldish color. Nice looking so far.+
  20. Ugh! Patch Select Tool. I totally forgot there was one! Man, just shows you, doesn't matter how long you use the program you still learn.
  21. It turned out great. I still love that door shutter.
  22. Nice work. I love the texture of the riverstones. Great.
  23. Thanks guys. The face must stay flawlessly handsome or it will take away from his machismo . I might give him the bigger belt buckle. The only reason I didn't was bacause I wanted to keep everything in proportion. And because of Jim Talbot's thread, I might just change the ears to make them more realistic, but I will have to redo my decals then. Thanks again Guys.
