How close is the shot gonna be? If it is not that close, bump maps, or maybe even normal maps (havent really experimented with them) would work great. Bump maps on 1000 or 500 would work i think, If the tire is going to be black. Ben

Thats really really good! i saw this last night at 2 am, but i wastn supposed to be on and didnt want to leave any evidence The only crit i have is about the skin, I agree, he looks to healhty, maybe Uv map some veins in there, mostly on the arms bicepts and hands. I have a hand that im proud of to show you what i mean, It should be much more exagerated for a goblin, but it will give you an idea. Ben

I'd certainly help Ben

Hey that looks real good! The only crit i have is on the eyes. If your dude was a bit thinner, he would look like a jackal fromt the Halo series I would suggest making them more slit like and more focused looking. Makes him look like a focused beast who is looking for a meal . . . Ben

Cool, looking forward to a monsterous beastly beast who we can expect to have a hard life, even though he tries to be mean. And is lonely cuz he lives in a cave Ben

hmmm . . . the enviorment, I could give it a shot, if you want? Sweet! again . . . looks awesome. Ben

For the dust, i would suggest having small 4 point patches, slightly wider than each tire, 100% transparencey and such, behind each tire, emitting dust spriticles For the tires, i think 1 bone for each set of 2 tires should work. Good job! I really cant wait to see everything finished! Ben

If you get something like "halo hacking tools kit" you should be able to view all of the models in a level, then extract them as a .3ds or a.obj, im not sure Ben
-
haha Sweet! Now you need to give him a bomb, make robin, and have them running through the streets of an old wharf town Nice job Ben

That . . . is a cool idea! Ben

This is what i mentiond in the metaball pyramid topic. Quite simple setup, shiny, reflective, translucent, refractive ball. cube, with reflectivity set to 100% 10 levels of relfection Ben PS. I forgot to delete the ground in the chor, rendered with radiosity . . . 14 hrs i think.
-
Sweet! Ben

For the DOF, try making your focus point the center of the chor, or basically however far away your camera is. Make your far focus as far as the farthest ball from the camera, and make your near focus, your closest ball to the camera . . . that should work. Ben P.S. I'm looking forward to that meatball pyramid . . . make sure it's sausy!

LOL Nice job! Is that after he fell out? hes must be one of those strong dudes . . . Ben
-
Nice, i made something like that . . . i'll post it up when i find it, but thats cool. . . . When i first read this i thought it said "MEATBALL pyramid" Ben
