  1. Hi Teo! At 8:57 I see him moving a bone, not duplicating a bone. Did you mean some other time? You can duplicate a bone in the heirarchy by CTRL-dragging it onto the "Bones" folder or to any other bone that is not its child. The cursor wlll show a + sign when you are hovering over a valid target. Note that this duplicates the bone and all its children. If you didn't want the children duplicated also, you will need to delete them manually.
  2. take the master0.lic file out of the AM folder temporarily. That will cause it to ask for your key.
  3. Bug report made https://reports.hash.com/view.php?id=7063 In all my years I don't think I've ever tried translucency but yours is a great use of it (or would have been!)
  4. Send Jason Simonds a PM on this forum. You can send a PM via the envelope icon at the upper right. Sorry you're having trouble!
  5. I should have seen your earlier report and just added mine to yours!
  6. I have made a simple case in v19 that demonstrates the problem and I will send that in!
  7. I'll flag this for @Jason Simonds . He may not have gotten to his email yet.
  8. i finally captured a reproducible case with my beta of v19p and have sent that off as a bug report. clip5000CopyNoCopyDecals.mp4
  9. That is trippy stuff, Joseph! The experimental music composers teaching at the university i went to would have gone ape if they could have done something like that. A novel use of A:M! I looked into your cookie-cut problem. I think that may be a bug worth reporting.
  10. Then i guess we're stuck. Email hash and they will tell you what to do next.
  11. the RLM -40 error means something is wrong with your system clock. Make sure it is set to the correct time. Not the future, not the past.
  12. But the program installer did run and seemed to at least complete the installation, right? Just to try... Do an uninstall, make sure there is nothing left in the Hash folder, then run the installer again. That probably won't change anything, but it's easy to try.
  13. I presume the computer you are installing on has an internet connection if it is not the one you are on right now. And I presume you have in hand the actual activation code Hash sent you. If both of those are true, then you may have to email Hash as it says. Sometime the online automatic process doesn't work and they will need to manually send you a license file.
  14. Thanks! The crisis is over for me now. I'm sure this was a worse nightmare for everyone who wasn't able-bodied or had kids and no back-up place to go to. For a lot of people this will be a continuing disaster as their frozen pipes thaw out and start leaking but my house is in such a state of unrepair it's easy to get to the leaky pipes. Fortunately i had enough spare parts around that i could saw a pipe off and cap it when a leak happened. It's not clear why this collapse happened. Some windmills in west Texas froze up, that would have been avoidable by buying better windmills, but a more immediately avoidable problem was that someone allowed a bunch of gas-fired generating plants to shut down for maintenance even when they knew this super cold weather was coming. I'm sure our Texas legislature will conduct a thorough fact-finding investigation, identify the corporate culprits, then put out a press release blaming Antifa. This debacle makes me all the more eager to build my tiny house and get out of the 100-year-old relic I'm in.
  15. Press this button to turn animate Mode back ON It is possible to reverse the behavior of this border, so that the border is visible when the A button is ON by checking "Animate Mode warning reversed" in Tools--> Options --> Global.
  16. You can turn that inverse if you want. Have a look at the Option-Menu. The default behaviour is based on the fact, that it is meant to be an "alert"-feature, because you can easily mess things up heavily when you work with Animate-Button off (you change ALL the keyframes on any given time) while it is not that bad if you work with it on by accident (you will only mess up the keyframes at one time). Anyway since Jason had the same concerns, there is the option-menu-entry that can help you if you find it more logical the other way round.
  17. It means "Animate Mode" is OFF, something you almost never want.
  18. RUN FOR YOUR LIFE! BOLT YOUR WINDOWS! LOCK UP YOUR DAUGHTERS! You have the A key OFF and not only you are not making new keyframes you are changing all your old ones. Aiiieeeee....
  19. The power is back today and they say the blackouts are over. But I still feel like I should be wearing five layers of clothing.
  20. Ghastly and miserable, the previous three days in Texas were. Winters here are usually "mild" with maybe one day with snow and several nights where it gets below freezing. And it's been trending warmer over the last few decades. But last weekend the coldest weather in all the time I've been here arrived and somehow caused a collapse of the whole electricity-generating system. They warned us in advance to expect rolling blackouts of 15 minutes to an hour. I was ready for that but at my house the power went out and stayed out for more than two days. Electric heat is all I've got so this is what it came to... warming my feet by candles. That was successful enough that i decided to go big and put out trays with 45 candles at once which got my room from 25° to 50°. Good enough to stop constantly shivering. The rest of the house was an ice box, however.
  21. Hi Charles! Although you can download old installers to use with your activation colde, they will still require the CD. The old CD versions required that the CD be in a drive to start. For a while Hash offered a dongle (serial port?) that bypassed the need for a CD but those dongles are long gone. I don't know if a USB CD drive would work or not. Also, Windows 7 and Windows 10 have disabled the OS code that made the CD key scheme work. There is a work around for that but I don't know if it works for everyone. My honest suggestion is to get the download subscription, $79 for one year. You get to use A:M on your modern computer, your old assets should still work, and you can have fun with A:M again.
  22. I always say "Martin Hash" three times before I start the program.
  23. I'm not sure what you did differently between those. I've tried it several times and it always worked. Very mysterious!
  24. I gave it a try with one patch in 32 and 64 bit versions of v19o and it worked appropriately.
