  3. Thanks for your kind words Dimos This was an fun model to work on, a great design. Thanks Dhar. I'm really looking forward to the hash bash The coat is made of a small piece of texture applied with the help of BitMapPlus
  4. Thanks guys Thanks Matt. Yes, I rendered the rotating models in IBL and HDRI sphere. It is thanks to you and your brother experimenting with lights that have made me understand it better
  5. Thanks Ken. Do you mean that I should speed up the whole reel? faster rotation on the models?
  6. I have been updating my demoreel quite a bunch lately. Added some new stuff and rerendered most of the old stuff (v.13 IBL). I guess I should have continued in the old thread but the old one is a bit outdated, so I hope you guys forgive me starting a new thread The demoreel do have some jagging in both the sound and the motion due to an bug in the editing software. Anyway. Here is an direct link to the demoreel: Approximately 18MB, Lenght: 2:26. Right click and save target as.... -=QuickTime=- -=Windows Media=- Let me know what you think Comments and crits are appreciated Regards Stian

  8. That sure was funny! Great work Zach
  9. Looking great so far. I just love complex models I found this blueprint of the bridge, Its not very detailed though. But could be an nice resource to nail down the overall bridge proportion. But I'm sure you have a pile of blueprints already. http://www.bcbones.com/maps/GoldenGateBridgeBluePrint.pdf
  10. HAHA That was great
  11. I second that! What I really like is the atmosphere you got there, and great models. Looking forward to see more Regards Stian
  12. Thanks Dan, Ed, Martin, John and Dhar for your comments. I also feel its on its place to thank Dan, Matt and Yves for theirs great effort, insight and experimenting with the light features, which have made it easier for me to understand the principles
  13. READY, SET, GO! [attachmentid=14333] edit: updated the image (higher res) I could not resist
  14. Here is the test: [attachmentid=14297] However, right after the rendering was done I discovered that I had converted the latitude/longitude image wrong (I forgot to set the source image to light probe in the format setting), so the environment should have looked like this: [attachmentid=14298] ibltest_480ibltest0.mov ibltest0.mov
  15. Great model
  16. Thanks guys Jupp, actually I'm in the last phase of rendering an 3sec 360* uffizi IBL short of it, using the projectfile Matt posted in the "High Dynamic Ranged Lighting, Finding a way to make it work Options" thread as an basis. And its looking promising so far Im going to upload the quicktime when its done (give me a few hours).

  21. Thanks Your right about the chin, I have reduced the roundness slightly (updated the image in post #1) Wire coming up. I agree about the hat (I use it only occasionally) but the reason I made it is because I gave up on making the hair The specs are mine (see the profile image, not the avatar), so they'll stay I might give hair an try later, but if anyone have a link to an great tutorial I'll be happy. Should I use hair with images of my own hair applied? [attachmentid=13889]
  22. I'm almost finished with renovating an old unpublished headmodel of myself . This was an nice texturing exercise and an exercise in modeling something non-mechanical I do not like the texture on the ear at the moment. Hopefully if I find the time in the near future I'll try to rig the face and try to do an lip-sync Comments and crits are highly appreciated Regards Stian [attachmentid=13888]
