I started modeling the doctor..... this is what I have so far...... I like the concept of the turtle so thats what am basing his design on.... but he's not ment to look much like a turtle.....

cehenderson - Thanks for your feedback.... for some reason when I render to a tga format it causes A:M to crash... don't know why...... --------- After we-writing my script some of the fishes I created will no longer be in the final animation, I kept only Lev Vy...... I story would be based on my GodMother ( a true story ).... this will consist of only 3 main characters... my godmother, A doctor, and Lev Vy... here is an update......on him..

ROFL thats some funny stuff...... maybe add some randomness to his body parts so things don't look so symetrical..... -
Looking great john nice environment.... I did not know you were gonna use the mechs in ur scene..... I look forward to more.....
-
WOW!! her skin tones looks awsome..... very realistic.... keep up the awsome work.

Great work mike, she looks awsome.. I love her hair.. I think her hands move a bit to much also as she walks there is no up and down motion so she looks like she's walking on the same level all the way.... The foundation of the walk is very solid tho it just needs some tweaking... keep up the great work.

he's taking shape... nice job so far.... I think his features needs to be defined some more... A bears eyes are really deep into it's head. keep up the great work....

Thanks guys..... jimstein - This was done as a lighting test in V8.5.. I did not have plans for it when I created it, but this scene got a bit of attention so I will load it into 10.5 and add more atmosphere to it... thanks.....

nice ships you got there.... from my experience with ships I prefer to model ships in parts, I will maybe break the big craft into 3 parts front / cockpit / tailend... This way you have more control over the texturing and the textures would not wobble... But your texture looks good so far. maybe at the end there is not enough splines, causing it to wobble. I would also like to know the solution to this.

The first image looks good, I also did some expirements with dust and I find it works very well. Iham Wrong made a great surggestion that I have not tried either, but breaking up the fog really adds alot to the scene..... here are some renders I did in V8.5 just using dust as the base effect, then another pic using dust and volumetric lighting......

This is one of the best realistic female models I have seen in a while, who's body parts are not BLOWN out of proportion.. You did a great job.... just a few things : * The overall outline of her body seems to have a sharpness to it maybe try smooth out the edges a little. * Around her nipples it looks very solid maybe add a gradient effect so the colour fades into the overall skin colour instead of looking so solid and bold..... amazing job sir...... keep up the great work.

Looking good jim, I just think his skin could look a bit more old. Maybe add some dark blemish to his skin ( diffuse map ) like under his eyes, his chin etc.

Hi guys.... I have decided to animate the drapes in this scene, and render it with Radiosity. How would I go about doing that? am not familiar with cloth stuff.... in the manual it covers it a bit but is there any TUTS that goes a bit more indepth? thanks in advance....

Great work Jim you have captured age itself....... I think his wrinkles can be a bit more appearent or exaggerated on his forehead and the cheek area. Thats just a surggestion. Keep up the great and inspirational work !!

YAY!!!! looks awsome..... the wings are wicked they look really good..... I would just add a ground just something he can stand on... and maybe add some specularity to his skin..... Keep up the good work.
