  1. thanks alot AMAR - I surggest where ever you want smoothness, an edge, or a sharp curve that you just ajust the BIAS ( Alpha, Gamma, Magnitude ) properties of the spline.... They really are effective; I used it when modeling my fishes where I needed sharp / smooth contours, now this can be a bit tedious if your whole model needs work.... So always remmember when modeling fewer spline produce smooth surface, make sure they are align properley to prevent creases and roughness.. This is something that you must pay attemtion too in the early stages of modeling your car or any object... If not you will have a hell of a time tweaking / fixing it. keep up the good work.
  2. very good attempt..... I notice that the car seems to be one whole object, the hood is not seperate from the rest of the car. defining these seperate shapes will add more to your model.. I can't tell where the door begins to where it ends, maybe it's the colour or material on it but it's not visually clear.. These little details makes ALL the difference. great job either way, better than what I can do
  3. My plan is to use TOONNATION plugins to texture my fish, it's very tricky to get it looking right, but here is what I have so far....... I like this texture very much!!!!
  4. hehe I don't think a hook could capture this type of fish now I have to attach the fins on his back to his body, am almost finish modeling him.. I will soon do a test animation of him chasing something.. Thanks for your feedback..........
  5. all the symbols have a meaning to them when they are all together, when I removed the swastika it destroyed the scene so I had to re-arrange the scene differently.. But I will keep the original to myself and post the more pleasent version online...

  8. thanks Far Star - "The Swastika" is the oldest cross and emblem in the world. It forms a combination of four "L's" standing for Luck, Light, Love and Life. the swastika was held as a good luck token before use by the Nazis corrupted its meaning. This symbol has a deep meaning which is why I had it in my scene... But it causes mixed emotions so I removed it.

  11. takahiro - this is amazing work sir totally cool..... His face is awsome so detailed and looks real His balance is good I would maybe move his left foot a little to the left. Can we see a wireframe?

  15. neat shark he looks good overall... when I examine your mesh I notice u got some hooks in there that's causing some problems..... by the mouth and the fin - now when a spline's uniform is broken it becomes ( unsmoothed ) so you wanna make sure your splines are all connected properly.. also the tip of his nose u may wanna add a few more cp's to round it of a bit.. overall good modeling... he will make my fishes run like hell
  16. cool Ship and animation William - I would just add more random lighting pattern on the ship just to add personality to it.. Also with the lens flare maybe have some blink or look different some how.. cool stuff- keep up the good work.

  20. It took alot of tweaking to get the scene the way I wanted it....... I hope this has help you...... I may write a TUT in the future on how I did the entrie scene...... thanks for your interest in my scene guys.....
  21. Now I modeled the drapes by first drawing the shape I wanted then extruding it then tweaking it to how I want it........
  22. Hi Mega & littleandy - Thanks alot for your feedback......... Here is a brake down on the scene...... I have 4 TOTAL lights in the scene.... most of the details are in the texturing / modeling !! I will start with a view of the overall scene...... as you can see here I modeled each board on the wood floor so that they all look different. I rotated them made some smaller; added some nails on the planks; added pipes etc....... the texuture on the pipe is an image map, also on the walls and drapes..
