  1. this looks great my only comment is that I think the street lights does not match the scene, it's not foggy so the street lights should not be that volumetric.. They are very bright and overpowering, maybe tone them down a bit and with less volumetric effect. Everything else is wicked..... keep up the good work.
  2. Coming along very nice.. This guy will look sweet when he's textured....... his overall design is great; his wings looks kinda out of place a bit... maybe try and fit it on better, and I would just add some bend to his antennas just to add more life / character to him....... I look forward to more updates..... keep up the good work... PS: can we see a wireframe?

  4. cool scene, I like the tree good modeling on it...... But the stretching on the terrian really takes away from the scene... Also tweak the sky a bit it's very overpowering... I agree I also like to keep my scenes simple; complicated stuff I stay away from..... I look forward to some updates....

  6. looks cool so far; I just think his face is too wide / round maybe scale parts of it just to add some facial planes to it, which I think will also add more character to him...... that's just a surggestion; but if your pleased with this look then go with it.
  7. Will Pickering posted a link to the new update 10.5o (Orungutan) if your using that version then that shader error you got it's fixed so get the new update.......
  8. very cool concept art for the bird, now I believe that a birds beak should drive the whole structure of it's face. Now with your model it looks like the beak is just pasted on; is this the look your after? And I agree you can get a more smooth mesh if you cut down on the amount of CPS you got there.... Looks good so far I look forward to more updates.

Thanks alot CRToonMike & carterhawk001 - I tweaked the scene; am very happy with the way it turned out..... a few effects I did in the scene was my first attempt at doing it and it turned out great, "like the bullet trails" - just what I wanted. A:M ROCKS!!! I love the creative feel it gives you as you work, plus it's organic feel and modeling method really lends itself to creativity.. Thanks for all your help guys......

  19. Thanks alot guys... am really glad you like it..... It's been a very challenging scene for me cuz it was kinda hard creating what I saw in my head... This scene is very different compared to my others; but am having tons of fun... I changed up the sky; I thought it might add a bit more life to the scene.

  21. Hi hashers, here is a still life am working on......it's an expression of one's thoughts coming to life. In this case I use a snowman as an example... Am just trying to express the state of mind I was in at one point.... comments are welcome...

  25. this looks cool so far troy, are you gonna heep the fins seperate from the overall mesh? am also working on some fishes they are really interesting creatures to study and model..
