  1. Good work guys...and nice singing! It was longer than I thought at 11MB....good candidate for MFlix?
  2. Nice! I like the sea too. Is that done in AM? Also, did you have detailed plans of the boat to do this?
  3. Quality as usual. It seems like Saturn have sole ownership of SoulCage! Hope now as I can see you guys making a movie someday. All those people! Did you make them specifically for this ad and do they all use the same rig? Also, what was the noise coming out of his mouth? lol It didn't sound human somehow.
  4. Some ideas for info you might include: Link to a website/email(should be a hotmail/gmail account that can be terminated easily) Info on what you do at meetings A small picture and brief outline of people who attend the meetings (obviously nothing too personal like phone numbers) A small picture of the place you meet if applicable Maybe a description of some problems you might have solved/work you've done as a result of these meetings. Etc etc
  5. You mad thing! 256 passes?? I didn't know it went up that far. But I don't think the quality is sufficiently higher to warrent such a long wait. Anyway, good first effort. Looking forward to more models from you.
  6. One thing that hit me is you cut away from the close up of the gun coming out of the ball too fast.
  7. I think Robocat was referring to the area between the eyes rather than the top of the head. But as long as you're happy, it doesn't really matter.
  8. Paul, take a look at some of the models on the cd to give you an idea on how to layout the splines around features like eyes and mouths. I think there might even be a dog on it. For example, the minimum number of splines coming out of an eye should be 6....two at each side, two on the top and two on the bottom. I wonder also if you're using the copy/flip/attach and mirror features which will cut your work in half. BTW, it's a good start.
  9. You're right. I had to make him react fast to what the other guy is saying because if he didn't the emotions wouldn't last very long. It's kind of like the guy on the right is controlling the blue guys emotions which is also what I wanted for this piece.
  10. Thanks Kyle. Here's an update. It's not perfect, but I'm happy enough with it to enter it now. Besides, I'm out of time! Enjoy. 1.7 MB Mpeg
  11. Thanks for the comments! Very helpful and most of it I agree with. I'm off to implement right now.
  12. This is the first time I've animated to sound. It took about 20 hours and I think it turned out pretty OK. It's for the next "10 Second Club" animation contest at the end of the month, so if you have any crits I'll get them fixed before then. BTW the movie clip is from "Anger Management". 1.7 MB Mpg-1 (sorry Maccers)
  13. Looks much better. The eye's don't need nearly all those splines. Use the 32 patch sphere on the cd as a guide. They're like that in the modeling window because the patches are flipped. Just select the patches and press F.
  14. I don't know if you want crits, but here's mine anyway : 1) The right knee on push off on the jump looks strange. It kind of rotates down. 2) In the jump, his arms might lag behind the body more. Also his body should be back more. 3) His landing looks ungainly. I know it's pretty close to what would actually happen, but he's a superhero and he can land how he likes. The main problem is the watcher is looking at his back for a while. I don't know if you've seen Jeff Lew's tutorials, but the last one covers this very subject. So, I see his landing as his legsstretching out preceeding his body. That way, he won't come forward as much and go out of frame.
  15. I looked at it loads of times too! The bobble, the scarf, the hair, the expressions, the camera shake....heck...just everything! The kid is surprisingly cute. I just wonder what the relationship between the two is! Just some questions....were the camera shake and scarf movement hand animated? Oh and Happy Christmas everyone!
  16. Really great and good to see. I hope you get lots of sales!
  17. Looks great. Has he a body? Can we see wireframe pictures? Thanks!
  18. But I thought vampires didn't have a reflection! His teeth aren't in it so maybe he's disappearing. Clever coding and good to see you again.
  19. I'm not sure if displacement can be baked. But yeah, I'd love that feature too.
