  1. Try this website: http://www.sounddogs.com/catsearch.asp?Type=1

    Black Sky

No they shouldn't make the background black. But they should be off. Is the alpha option on in the camera settings?

In the buffers option inside your render options, you need to turn off the alpha option.
  4. Hey welcome back. What is he? A mean bean? Are you going to rig him? Can we see a shaded wireframe screenshot?
  5. Well, it's just an icon on the top toolbar that you can toggle on and off. (Unless mine is customized). If I remember rightly, pressing Shift+3 will do the same thing.
  6. Hash have an online store docha know. If there's an option to add a note, tell them you also want a dongle. If not, contact Hash to see how it works... http://www.hash.com/store/index.php?main_p...fa07164a2161384
  7. I really need to give that model to the extra cd. It won't be on my server forever..... What's happening with this years extra cd? Haven't heard much lately.
  8. TWO seconds? PS Tinmans hands look massive in that picture! PPS Where's the guy who made Scarecrow? Haven't seen him round in a while. His names on the tip of my tongue....
  9. That's coming from the light behind the glass....which is a kleig within the model (ie no lights in the chor). I'm sure the other light types would produce a similar effect though.
  10. Is this the sort of thing? You have to increase the glow options in the chor properties.
  11. Nice title. It would be cool if we could put abit of fairy dust round the Oz word. Just to add that extra element of fantasy and fun. Edit: Oh you cheeky sod Will! I can definitely see that. I was just thinking of a dvd dust cover a second ago. Edit2: What's 3D world's email. It can't hurt to let them know about the project.....
  12. Great job. The best way to go about lighting is to decide what environment it's in. Is it going to be sitting in a hanger or out fighting in space? Either way would mean totally differnent lighting setups.
  13. Cool. There just has to be TWO desktop backgrounds at some stage.
  14. Excellent start. Only your first post too! You've even got camera switching going on in there. My only advice would be to make the moves more extreme. He's a cartoon character, so he can bend right back when he's pulling on the handle. The more violently he pulls, the funnier it is.
  15. Cool. I can think of lots of applications for that.
  16. If you speed up the walk cycle, you need to increase the number of cycles....because they're taking less time to complete. You can do this in the channel editor of the timeline. There are red boxes beside the actions. Also, in the properties, there's a repeat number option.
  17. I think it looks great. The only nitpick is the shape of the droplet when it's just hanging on and about to break off. The sides seem too straight. Also the reflection seems off. PS That would be a nice effect for a tap in TWO.....
  18. Wow! That was quick! On to number 2!

    New Creature

    Hehe You're the monster master.
  20. Nice. I agree with the point that such a violent impact would lift (even move) the whole car.
  21. I think I can probably guess who it is.
  22. That looks great. If you're clients aren't happy with it, then there's no pleasing them. If you really wanted to impress them, you could have the mirror flying up and falling down a distance from the vehicle. Or maybe shattered glass flying in the air too. The shadows look abit too sharp too. Or maybe not... PS Where did you get the trucks from? PPS Also the hood needs to pop up abit.
  23. lol What are you making a movie or doing a simulation? They must be fussy customers! It looks fine to me. You have plenty of splines in there to be able to emulate that damage using just poses.
  24. I'm getting that too. I don't know of the fix. If it irritates you enough, you might let Hash know in AM:reports. See my sig for the link.
