  1. Well, the yellow lines are joining up splines and the red ones are deleted sections of splines. It's hard to explain without pointing.

  3. Um....I think I'd do something like this. I believe it would make the lines flow better for animation.
  4. OK now I believe it's your first model....you've a few dead end splines in there...above the eyes and corners of the mouth.
  5. Nice model! Yeah, another spline ring around lips and probably eyes too. Make sure there's a spline ring close to the lips on the inside of the mouth too for those Ooo sounds. That cp with 3 splines coming out of it (naughty).....the discontinuous spline should probably continue up to join up with a spline coming out of the eye. The spline you replace could go over the nose bridge. Finally, maybe abit more chin/jaw? It might be hard to get his mouth opend wide otherwise. PS Also, you probably would need another spline between the eye and nose. Without it, the nose will turn to mush when he blinks.
  6. Have you altered any of the same things in the chor that are altered in the poses? I suspect you have and they're conflicting with the movement in the poses. How do the poses behave in a fresh chor?

    I doubt it's gone bad. Can you not even select the names in the PWS? Maybe if you could post a full screen shot, it might make things clearer.
  8. Nice model! From the above reference (I've never seen this character before)....the arms are stubbier and hands bigger. In fact the hands are almost the size of his forearms!

    anime hair

    Can we see an image of the slow hair? v14 hair rendering has been sped up significantly. Most likely you have too high a density setting.....particularly for anime hair, you only need to make the base of the hair bigger to fill in the gaps. If it's the realtime that's slow, you can reduce those settings in the hair attribute.
  10. Does it play ok within Pinnacle before you burn it? If so, then it's a setting within Pinnacle that needs changing.
  11. Go into the properties of the camera...change the color in there.

  19. Select the model name and there's color settings for that....as well as groups. You've most probably changed the white to black in there. And Seamus is well Irish!

  21. Could you not do it in a pose? Or in an action for one and put it on multiple copies of a chor? I don't think you can copy keyframes from one instance to another inside an action.
  22. Move the skin group so that it's at the top of the groups. Then the other groups will over-ride the cps that are probably also in the skin group.
  23. I think they prefer it without any writing on it. But they don't want to own it. Steve is the man to ask....though he may be on holidays.
  24. Hmm....yea, I'm seeing her hips moving in different directions to the set keyframes. I've no idea why though.
