  1. You could export it as an action and then drop that action into your new chor..
  2. You will need a ground in there to render the shadow to. But turning the active parameter to OFF gets rid of the ground altogether. This tutorial will help you integrate a character into a real background: http://www.hash.com/users/ed/tutorials/fpm/fpm.htm
  3. It shows previous and next frames in "ghosted form". Therefore, you can see how the arcs/timing/etc are looking.
  4. Shadowing on to other objects (the ground) can only be seen when rendered. What exactly do you mean?
  5. The Baby Face tutorial here is good, but it doesn't seem to be accessible at the moment. It's also in the manual. There are plenty of others to search for too. http://www.lowrestv.com/arm/search3.asp?bo...ateAdded%20desc
  6. Nice work! Also, nice model Mage....is it yours?
  7. There might be something about chors and actions in the tech reference......which you can probably get a link for by searching the forum. And as I say that, most of the problems have come up before in this forum, so this is possibly the best reference. Regarding your explanation, to be honest, it's hard to follow these issues with words. Your best bet at getting it solved is to provide screenshots outlining clearly where the problem is.....including the timeline/properties etc. Or if you can provide the proj file even better.
  8. Perhaps these threads will be of use: http://www.hash.com/forums/index.php?showt...mp;hl=walk+wave http://www.hash.com/forums/index.php?showt...mp;hl=walk+wave And you can use the search feature too. You'd probably need 3 separate actions in the chor.....walk....wave....walk and work it like that.
  9. You need to make a path to the libraries as described here: http://www.hash.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=2387

    V14?

The 2007 subscription entitles you to all downloads till January. The latest v14 is the latest beta: http://www.hash.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=28322 There are a few improvements such as being able to hide in the chor/SSS and render speed optimizations. But as it says, it's still beta.....till today possibly.
  11. You need less repeats over a shorter distance....or the same number of repeats over a longer time. Has the walk got stride length? You might try turning it off and experimenting with the properties.

    Demo?

By this he means not making bad cg art, but you're desire to make good cg art!

    Demo?

No. But there's a 30 day money back guarantee.
  14. No....it will "turn it into" a smart skin relationship window and so it's built into the model. You can turn the relationship window back to a normal action by unclicking the "handcuff" icon in the top right of the screen.
  15. Only the mesh....by exporting and importing as an obj.
  16. Oh right. You'll probably need to switch to FK legs (if that's an pose option) But do it in an action otherwise, that pose will be associated with the smartskin window.....I think. So, open a new action. Switch to FK legs. That should make the thigh bones appear. Then right click on them to smartskin them.
  17. Can you upload a screenshot of the thigh disappeared? It's most probably been rotated in the x(?) axis.....that tends to happen as a default when you open a new smartskin window. It's usually best to rotate the bone in an action till it "breaks" and then right click>new smartskin in there.
  18. If you right click on an action in the chor, there's an option to export it as an action. Delete what you don't want (on a copy) and export as an action. Yes?
  19. That hip movement must be inherent in the rig. Maybe there's a pose to turn it off? Otherwise, it seems like you'll have to counter animate the hips. But it seems natural if the wings go down then the hips go up and vice versa.
  20. Highlight the bones whose keyframes you want to duplicate. In the timeline, drag a box around the concerned keyframes (Or hold down shift/control key to multi-select too). Press Contol C. Move the slider to where you want to paste the keyframes. Press Control V.
  21. If you contact Hash and tell them your story and serial number....maybe even a picture of your disc, then they've been known to replace them if they still have them in stock.
  22. The animatic and song are in the "about the movie" tab.....it's the swf at the end of the line of pdfs. (I can't link to it as it's all flash based)
  23. Perhaps it might be an idea to switch the language under the flags or have it in both languages.
  24. There's a cloth tech talk. I think you'll find it off the main Hash page.
  25. I don't believe it should decrease by so much. You might try reporting it on AM Reports. See my sig for link. If you have the disc for v14 (TWO image) then try that. Also, you hit the pagedown key a few times (till you hear a beep). The first image looks to be quite high subdivision. Finally, if macs have another choice between Opengl, you might switch it in options.
