  9. Wes You had the material messed up. Instead of the normal attribute for the blobbies it was changed to sprites and got your interesting effect. I redid the material and just roughly set the parameters and got this Here is the revised project file ablobbies_test.zip

  11. I just did a blobbie trial in V14a and got this blooddrips.mov the breaks are there because I cut down on the number of blobbies but I do not see chunks blooddrips.zip 14a This probably would be better with v15 fluids did a quick test with 15 fluidblooddrips.mov

I tried a simple boolean in 14a and got starnge results maybe someone could try this also the cutter starts "cutting"before it was on the target and then again when it was on target with different results sphere with red back being approached by sphere with cutter bone check on the project frame 6-7 before sphere gets to target we see red circle then later the cut with mixed results btest.mov btest.zip
  14. Matt I used the absolute value so the head would only go foward and back to the original position otherwise it would rock backwards. This was just a quick idea and like I pointed out it might be hard to match the song's beat to the action with the expression. John "the egg was an early Animation Mentor model someone posted in AM format that I added the electric arc and matching hair" Edit I grabbed the background sound needed and set up a action to follow the sound with an old program amptitude ( no longer available). I repeated the sound but it would need tweaking since I just cut the sound quickly for this.... this is a quick render. You can see it matches better than the expression would. newbop.mov
  15. I can get an expression to do that but to match the beat of the music would be tricky. I'll try to post a project with a expression you might be able to adjust. I assume you know how to set up a pose and then add an expression Matt?? walking egg with fire ? Okay here's what I got bop.mov bop.zip You can put your model with the expression into the chor and turn on the pose and it wil bop to you shut off the pose. Now that is for each copy but it could be used as a feature to start say each row at a different time. By adjusting the expression you can speed it up and change the angle. Some other person might have a better expression but this was the easiest I could think of. I used it in the x rotation based on how I placed the bone1 the expression was Abs(Sin((ChorTime())*6)*15)
  16. No unfortunately the person who had offered me free web space suddenly disappeared. I have no complaints but it was without warning and I haven't got my act together to get a new site up especially when I see some of the others ..people put together. I 've been looking over what I have and will probably start something soon right now I just have a place at johnl3d.com with just a couple of qt's
  17. Paul just from my old web site I have 945 qt/jpeg files in images folder do you want me to email them so you get your favorites included. That does not include the stuff for most of 2006 and 2007. I will work on getting more together after I figure out a few more things like the new rig....   18. a1blobbies.mov Did 100 frames with yellow then red then blue then green color side note as I reported on first alpha only one fluid renders in final render right now I used the tutorial project added the fluid source called "smoke" in the second box and it was the only fluid that rendered in final render even though it shows fluid in quick render and wireframe
  19. okay I tried to see what you posted as the chor and it does not have enough stuff with it to see whats not working. So I put the Kat and a sphere into a project and just quickly set up kinematic constraint for each arms on the sphere and tried animating it and it seemed to work fine. Are you sure the constraints on each arm has a target. kk.mov If this is not what you are asking please ask again
  20. Got home late and found V15A1 available so tried a quick project lowering a ball into a cup of fluid. Needs tweaking but looks promising tt.mov No Newton just a key frame drop in slow motion I know its 15 not 16 will have to read titles before clicking

  25. It might help if you explain what you mean by animate. Make it fly or flap its wings or explode or ?? also post a render so we know whats strange Here is something strange a space ship following a path for 30 frames ...its a new safe ion engine that works strange ss.mov there are a lot of people with space ships that wil help if you give them a hint
