  1. Ahh Man!.. I wondered what the earlier post was referring to about the upside down "M"... I had Alias Wavefront on the mind I guess. type'o. sorry
  2. yeah, I just tossed that first scene with the stove and the steam in at the end. The background is just a shot of my own kitchen. No the antenna were not set up with dynamics. They should have been. I need to do some work to learn the dynamics systems of AW. I wasn't super pleased with all the motion, but that's what I get for such a rushed project. All in all, the things that are bad really taught me a lot about the program. you're right about the steam. some distortion would have gone along way. And I needed a background in the first shot. It looks odd to me now that the first scene is so different. All in all it's pretty sloppy (being that hindsight is 20x20) , but a good learning experience.
  3. here's a little animation I put up on AWfilms for kicks. It's the first project I've done with AW. I'm a 3D guy for some years now, but mainly polys. I'm really starting to like working with the splines. I know this isn't all that great, but I wanted to jump in and get my feet wet. Thought I'd see what advice or critique I could get from you guys. Thanks, CrawdaddyMovie
  4. the character is awesome. I love the expression. Nice face. I agree withe the earlier post about the fly. It's really cool, but the alien is so detailed, the fly Mech might come across better if it was dirty or beat up a little. Overall, that's great. I look forward to seeing the animation
