  1. Fantastic, Will!
  2. Happy Birthday, Holmes!
  3. The only problem I see is that then the surface would have no thickness...so it wouldn't look realistic.
  4. Whenever I run into extremely strange behavior, I first try rebooting. If that doesn't fix it, I try a clean install...which is very rare. Hope that helps.
  5. The InstallRig plugin is used when installing the Squetch Rig and the 2008 Rig (unless that has changed in the 2008 Rig), but you can make your own installation rig that uses the plugin if you'd like. I made a tutorial on how to make an installation rig that you can get here. The plugin re-parents bones according to the naming of the "INSTALL" bones, then hides all of the bones except ones with "geom" in their name. Hope that helps, John.
  6. Great stuff, Dwayne!
  7. Looks great, Dwayne!
  8. You are Right, so, I have thinking to correct that part in the rig... I mean adding some smartskin, fan bone or CP weights at the final...so , there are many troubles like this in the models... the rigg is not finished yet...by the way I wonder if you could give me some tips that help me to correct this troubles I hope you could.. I admire the way you resolved troubles like that in the squetch rig...for me it is one of the best rig I have seen in this forum...I am doing this project in my spare time so I did not having time to study the squetch rig...so I am doing it at the easy way for save time ... I am using the rig that I know better---thanks for all David Smartskin and weighting might help, but I think one more spline ring will help the most on the shoulders. If there's anything I can help with, let me know and I'll take a look at it.
  9. It's fun to see him move!
  10. It's still ongoing, but extremely slowly at this point. Right now, I'm working on getting the installation tutorials for the Squetch Rig put together...of course, there are some tweaks that I'm adding to the rig before that gets finished. I've had very little free time lately, so that is also working against me. This project will get finished...although I admit it's taking me way too long.

    Cicak

    LOL! That's cool, Gerry.
  12. The one suggestion I have is to add another spline ring to the shoulders on the guys...they lose their roundness when lowering the arms at this point. Looks great so far, Sabino!
  13. Looks great, Shawn!
  14. LOL! Very cool, Josh!
  15. jEdit is capable if you make a macro for the job.
  16. It just keeps getting better, Paul! Great stuff.
  17. I think you should use TSM2. The Squetch Rig has some add-ons for hand-like feet and tail, but the installation tutorials aren't out yet and you would have to know more than if you used TSM2.
  18. Happy Birthday, Mark!
  19. Very cool, Holmes!

    Great stuff, Marcos!
  21. Happy Birthday, Matt!
  22. Just another "stay alive" post. I've been doing a lot of work on the hand rig. I've improved the squetching and the overall workings. I decided to finally separate the controls for curling the fingers to something similar to Mark Skodacek's 2008 Rig...separating them makes a lot more sense. I've reduced the number of Poses because of the design changes and did some combining of a few others and added some fan bones to get a little better look to the bends. Once I get a version of Sam finished, I'll post it for testing. After the hands are updated, I've got a few additions for the head and face rig that I want to put in. Then, those tutorials can get done...yeah, I'm taking way too much time on this, but I want all of the additions in before I make a comprehensive tutorial.
  23. I would approach the legs/feet as normal legs with hands on the end...then tweak the fingers to move like toes as well.
  24. Looks great, Chris!
  25. The shoulders, neck and chest look great! Looking at the nose and lips, I'm thinking you can easily reduce the number of vertical splines. Great so far, Klum!
