  1. I should have remembered "Heavy Metal"...that would probably be a better example since it's animated.
  2. Agreed, but (as you say) how else can a feature film be accomplished? Vignettes. A couple of examples...Tales From The Crypt and The Twilight Zone
  3. I'm forced to use another "stay alive" post this time. I've had very little free time the past two weeks, but I've been working on the Squetch Rig update every chance I get...still quite a bit to do. I'll have a little time this week...we'll see how far that gets me.
  4. If those bones are centered on "0", they shouldn't duplicate...are they on "0" on the 'X' axis? Hope that helps.
  5. Happy Birthdays, Steve and Jason!
  6. Looks fantastic, Rodger!
  7. Happy Birthday, Robert!
  8. I'll have to use a "stay alive" post again. I'm still working on updating the Squetch Rig...making progress, but still more to do.
  9. I found this page...maybe it will be helpful.
  10. Happy Birthday, Ethan!
  11. Yes. Yes.
  12. Yes, it will expire one year from the purchase date. Yes. If you save your "master.lic" file, you can re-install on the same computer without having to contact anyone. The $299 version never expires, but, you will only be able to use the updates for that year...so, if the last update is something like v17g, that will be the newest version you could use. As I've said, the $299 version doesn't expire. Current models are generally backward compatible to all versions until v13 (except for things that don't exist in the older version)...the files changed in that version. However, all older files are still useable in the current version. Hope that helps.
  13. Great stuff, Mark!
  14. Happy Birthday, Patrick!
  15. Happy Birthday, Jeff!
  16. My guess is that Squetchy Sam is more complicated than what you are looking to study, but he's currently in this post. Hope that helps.
  17. He's actually on the Extras DVD in the ExtrasData/Models/Actors/Anime/Boy folder. The Constraints Pose needs to be turned on...here's a quick clip. Hope that helps, Gene. anime_boy.mp4
  18. Great stuff, Will!
  19. For monitor calibration, I use a Pantone Huey, but it doesn't appear to be available now...the X-Rite ColorMunki Smile is listed as the newer model. Hope that helps.
  20. Happy Birthday, Heath!
  21. I'm sorry for your loss, Kathryn.
  22. Happy Birthday, Jason! Thanks for all of your hard work.
  23. I posted the beginnings of another set here. It still needs a lot of work, but I wanted to post at least one of the things I've been modeling (very slowly, unfortunately). For the next couple of days I'll be concentrating on updating the Squetch Rig...Mark Skodacek found some issues that need to be corrected and made some great recommendations that should speed up installation. Thanks, Mark!
  24. Here's the beginnings of another set...it will be a room of cubicles eventually. This cubicle is still unfinished, but it's a start.
