Hey Mark have you thought of making this an iapp comic book?

Thanks Nancy I was asked to make some Halloween Shorts based on Some shorts I created in 2009 for a concert I did in that same yr So I had to recreate the project and I used AM for that it will run on the Tango Dango network
-
i needed to whip one up for the series that will run in a few weeks there will be an info banner under the mov when completed Trailer.mov

AM to the rescue the mission complete 5 narrative animations for Dango Tango a web series for they're Halloween season the first 4 where done in another 2d program in 2009 and they needed to have certain scenes redone without changing styles and going back to 2d would have delayed the whole thing so i turned to good ole AM for the ans. the short mov shows the success of that I rebuilt the first scene and made a seamless match to the second in a matter of hours ( the cut the to bird is the 2nd scene ) other scenes where then rebuilt in a similar manner ok so it's not pixar but thats the look number 5 was all AM ( decals made in another app the touched up in 3d paint) again staying with the same style but taking advantage of lighting I banged the new one out ( 2 weeks from scratch ) there would have been 6 but Irene took care of that ( one week of no power ) the 2 stills are from the new one anyway made the deadline AM rules! next up AM on the ipad yep made a book j mov.mov

yes i think you do need to close it up or reduce the size of the of your light with the width and falloff your filling up the whole area with light and you do not need volumetric on your light unless you want it
-
-
not sure if this is what you are looking for but tis is one way try this for starters add a rim light and turn off the one thats on in the cho add volumetric s to the new light adjust to wall (do not pass the light threw the wall only the beam) you can change it to any light after you set it and turn on any lights you want back on

that is such great work all around

do this change your quicktime export from whatever compression it is currently on ( example if your Quicktime export is on to none, set it to animation ) you can pick anyone but just change it then do a one frame test you should have a movie now you can go back and set it back to whatever export you would like it is a known quirk that will happen every now and then example.mov

Thank you kindly for the info. regards simon mac and quicktime if your are rendering from the camera make sure that when you render the file name matches that of the camera file name also you might have to change the export settings in Quicktime ( for some reason every now and then that screws things up ) for example if you are rendering out as an animation change it to none and do just a 1 frame render then you can change it back your preferred settings once everything is lined up that should solve the problem if you can not enter any info in text boxes just click anywhere outside of AM ( your desktop ) and you will be back in bizz

I meant from the movies he worked on tracks from people he knows if he asked i'm sure he could get and if this a track with vocals but the background is cool maybe a remix ( which by the way would most likely tie together very nicely ) you think i would do a rant about this and say hey go rip off a movie track so no not music from movies a note about borrowing music no pun the copyright covers that an example would be i borrow your lawnmower to cut my lawn you don't even know its gone and hey i figure if you want it back come and get it ( if you can find it ) and as long as i don't damage so what another extreme way of looking at this Ford makes a commercial and uses a Rolling Stone track with out asking and then they say hey we're not making money off this we're just showing our car and when people come in they are buying the car not the song (so what wrong with that ) everyone equates this to just money and it is the over riding factor but the other point its just proper to ask for Big projects you can contact the Harry Fox agency for permission and pricing (its easy and cheaper then you would think ) now don't get me wrong here I am very sympathetic to this problem of artist needing tracks in this particular case however there should be tracks available to HomeSlice and again it's a demo that reflects his hard work that I would think he would like to get out over the place so hows this, if one could avoid it just don't do it

Thank you Jimd. I do realize that, even though I am in no way compromising the commercial value of the original music, I still do not have the rights to the music. I have read that YouTube has agreements with most of the major labels to allow users to post stuff that includes various pieces of music. So I just did a search on YouTube for "Pink Floyd" and saw many videos that were definitely not uploaded by the copyright owners. So I figured I would just upload it and if I get asked to take it down, I will. But I have not done much research into it. Do you know anything about the YouTube agreement with music companies? Thank you Mark. Thank you Michel, That is one more reason to focus on Shorts instead of spending 5 years making 2 feature length movies I'll look at the other stuff I have done and see if any of it is good enough to put in there. Detbear, those sound like very good points. I'll start working on Draft #3. The music agreement as i understand it is for a new music section of utube where artist such as Madonna ect.. will allow their music to be played as far as i know no agreement has been made to allow people to upload music or place music on their vids somehow i doubt that will change are you sure you can't find a track from the movies ( instrumental ) that will get it across take the time to find something ( really you put a bunch of work into this you don't want to have to pull it )
