I'm not sure if this has been posted yet. It's a hefty 41.7 MB, but well worth it. http://cubemovies.ign.com/cube/video/tak_c...303_01_free.mov Nope, I had nothing to do with it, just posting .

myGameTV.com is a new syndicated video game review TV show. The show airs in Florida as well as worldwide on the internet. We're like Siskel & Ebert on crack. We're seeking animated shorts 1-5 minutes long that are hilariously funny, maybe a little controversial. If they are gaming related that is a plus. Although there is no compensation, we offer screen credit and there is a lot of exposure and we can also plug your website on television. For more information contact: producers@mygametv.com Jeff Rivera Producer myGameTV.com

Walking a "Tightrope" was the topic this week. But my guy ended up looking more like he's waiting for some clown on a trapeze to take him out. See it on my showdown page (QT 95K Sorenson3) My "plan" was to break up the walking action with these "unbalanced" poses, but I never got them to work together and in hindsight, that was too much of a "make animation" solution and not enough of a "character animation" solution.

I'm trying to find the optimum lighting settings for this character. I've no problem with the keylight but the Fill and Rim wash out the shadow cast onto the ground. How can I fix this? Also, this will be a toon character, but when I render these settings in toon, it looks totally different. It seems the settings don't transfer. For example, the rim light doesn't just light the side, it also lights the front!

So... I made this dragon right, but I have absolutely no idea how to go about rigging it. I would get The Setup Machine, but its a tad bit expensive. I'm posting a picture of the whole thing shaded and wireframe. If it helps I can post more pics of close-ups of certain areas. (i.e. the legs, neck, tail, wings, etc.) Any ideas would be great. Thanks

I'm working on a QT virtual river tour that will be part of a world wide river resource website. The idea is to document your river any way you like, using QTVR. I chose the Capilano River in North Vancouver, Canada. I'm posting this here, for crits, because I have'nt yet found a good place to get crits from the VR folks. It may be inapropriate to post this here, but you people are so good about giving crits, I thought I'd give it a try. I want this to look pollished and proffesional. I would appreciate any comments you might have. Here is the link. to the tour. I did use A:M for making the map. I modelled over a DEM and added texture. If you are curious …

I've been whittling out a logo these past couple days. It'll be mainly for video production work that I do. I know a flying cardboard box isn't all that glamorous for a company icon, but I liked the idea for some reason. I'm not quite done with the animated version. A:M's giving me a little difficulty with the wings on the box. I'll try to remember to post that when I'm done with it, but for now it's just a picture. Please comment if you wish. Thanks!

Hey all, I just wanted to show you some of my screen shots from past animations and such, stuff I don't care to share, hehehehehe!! MOst of them are unfinished and undone. Some of this was done in A:M, and I do say some. But I'm currently focused on two movies!!! These screenshots are from movies that never were done, and trailers I was never happy with, but looking back I thought some of them were kind of cool. But now I'm focused on animating and such, doing a how to in A:M and gonna have fun all the way. So coming soon to a dvd near you is something like the below, it does have the below characters, but differant stories. Hope you like

The local Futures Foundation asked me to come up with artwork for their fundraiser "Taste of Technology"— a silent auction and wine tasting event. This would be used on postcards, posters, and a huge banner. So this is what I gave them. And, it was a pretty big hit as well.

Only two Animation Showdowns got off the ground in August but here are my four-hour efforts: Queezy: Our character had to be so sick he had trouble standing. I never really got the counter action of the arm working right. Mirror: Actually the topic was "You lookin' at me?" but it was defined as a character reacting to a mirror. So that's what you get. See them on my Showdown Page. You too can test your skill at the Animation Showdown (usually) every week. Find out more about it at http://www.digitalrendering.com in the "forum".

I need someone to do landscapes for my series, CLone Commander. Mail me if you think you're qualified. This is a non-paying job. We need 3 different deserts (if you know about Star Wars, it's for Geonosis). Later we'll need 2 dank forests, an ocean, a cave, and 2 snowscapes. For now, though, just the deserts.

For instance: If I name a circle as pathA, a bowl (rivit) object as object to extrude onto pathA, can I control the orientation of the bowl/rivit object? I want the flat ends of the copied bowls/rivits to lie on the same plane as the pathA circle. See pic. Hope this description makes sense. Also, is there an exact way to orient the view perpendicular to a plane that is not aligned to the x/y/z planes? I've been doing it by trial and error, but I need more precision.
