So everyone i have done some load testing and a few other things and the new AMfilms seams to work well. http://amfilms.hash.com You can upload your videos, link videos from youtube.com watch and play videos. I have not set out the rules yet but the main rule will be the same at the old A:Mfilms that all videos must be made for or in Animation master. Lets use this as the debugging thread also when we get everything worked out i will clean this up. Think of this a a RC thread The old A:Mfilms is being moved to http://vintagefilms.hash.com it's not 100% working right now but i should get that worked out soon. I will have the winners of the 201…

This is my very first video output from A:M that I consider better than a "work in progress" so I put it in the showcase. It's from my back lot - a 16 sec. pan from right to left as the streetcar enters and exits the shot. After 8 sec. the shot looks like this; I'm satisfied with everything in this shot although it could probably be improved with more passing vehicles and pedestrians...all in good time. street_car_drvby.mp4

I have recently made this little short using Animation Master, I have uploaded it to the servers, but I understand it takes a while to be processed. So I thought I would just post a link to it to my Youtube channel until the short becomes avalible. This is something I have been working on the last few months. It's a basic character test for a project I have in development. The brief I set myself was to develop Albby's cheeky little character and design a world for him to inhabit. I also wanted to play around with cameras and develop a style that would suit the story telling I am interested in. It's been a challenge...but fun. I have no textures on any of the …

Sorry to sound rude, but I'm getting kind of frustrated and beginning to feel like I'm being ignored. I sent an e-mail to support@hash.com 4 days ago with no response (not even a "we're busy, we'll tackle this later"), posted 2 days ago with no response and I'm going to try once more just for kicks before I get all so fed up that I just leave. I want to upload the Red Squad trailer to AM Films. It's uploaded to Youtube so on AM films I used the upload Youtube video function. It said completed successfully. There is no sign of it anywhere! I've seen others do it, someone else posted about having this issue and was told to e-mail support@hash.com. I don't know …

I wanted to experiment with fire, so I played around with the particle emitter and learned how to make a good looking flame. However, I couldn't get the look I wanted for my candle, so the flame is just a model with glow. Just a fun short idea/experiment. I hope you like it. Enjoy! I spent some time learning to navigate around in the "new" A:M Films this morning. There a few of the classics from the "old" A:M films that I couldn't seem to locate. I'm not sure if it was my navigational abilities or the fact that they are no longer included. the Titles I was looking for are : "Little Ditty", and "It's bad.....ALL bad...." Just wondering if they just didn't make the cut or if they're gone for good?

This isn't exactly A:M Films material but it is a great interview with one of the programmers of Animation:Master. In just a few short minutes Ken Baer covers some of the basic philosophy behind A:M and explains why it will be a better fit than other programs available. Those that might be interested in purchasing Animation:Master should check it out. Ken Baer is now an independent programmer but five years ago he was know as Hash Inc's enlightened marketing guy. If you live in the US Northwest and are a fan of the various brews on tap you may have even used his custom application to locate the finest spirits in the Portand area. He still hasn't forgotten his …
