The still image makes his arms/hands look a little out of whach but the animation reads fine. Are you able to email your exercises to me? While 'Putfile' is a great place to share video on the cheap I can't seem to even get a screen capture of the video window to grab the images for use in your certificate. I did find some errors when posing the new 04KeeKat, it seemed to have the eyes bleed through the eyelids when squinted and now he seems to be a bit crosseyed.. heres my render with some extra posing ... After some computer troubles, I am ready to start over. I only lost the first few excercises, but the practice will do me some good. As for this excersise, I guess I made it into an animation because I looked around in the forums and saw some that were animated. The first time I did this excercise moving the camera was a big issue for me, but I figured it out. Animation Master is very different from Maya and Houdini, which I have used at S.C.A.D. (Savannah College of Art and Design) which I graduated with a BFA in computer art. I can't wait until I can start making my own stuff in this program! As far as uploading movies are concerned I cannot stress enough (but need to find a better place to announce it) that the 'safe' format for the forum is MOV format with Sorenson 3 compression. You can render Sorenson 3 MOV straight out of A:M and I've yet to see anyone say that hasn't worked for them. An added benefit is that others won't have to track down strange codecs and install them in order to see your movies and provide feedback. Outside of the TaoA:M forum the codec wars still rage. Maybe you faked the RULERS!!! Cannot fool me... I'm on to you! My point to all this (assuming there is one) is the role that scale has in composition. The end result, what the viewer sees, is what really matters. Sometimes, especially without other visual cues, scale can be misinterpreted. Most viewers assume that camera view is from their eye level. That (and a really small Thom) sells the effect for you. He looks/looked like a HUGE Keekat to me! Edit: Hmmm... That was v8.5. So after the v13.r install I noticed a few changes. Thats a bit of a joke, my jaw still isn't right from when it hit the floor. Don't those folks from Hash ever sleep? The practice of stitching splines in a modeling window makes a big difference. Add to that Layers and Post Effect and Hair. New rendering options, graphics formats... on and on and on. I get a sense of pride when I talk to any A:M User no matter what the version. v8.5 p++ is still one of my favorites and it can still be used today to make movies! But I could never go back (last year I tried!). It was a lot of fun but I missed stitching! Upgrading... WOW... What a difference a few years make. Not only do get the latest and greatest in A:M technology but you get to tell Hash Inc thanks for the memories. Congratulations on moving into v13 and welcome to TaoA:M!
