markeh Posted December 14, 2005 Posted December 14, 2005 I was just playing around with Steffen's e_rebuild plugin. WARNING: Graphic in nature (or maybe not). Although, if you hold it on frame 31, it looks kind of like a Christmas tree. viking.mov Quote
NancyGormezano Posted December 14, 2005 Posted December 14, 2005 my my, How festive... (cracked me up) Quote
johnl3d Posted December 14, 2005 Posted December 14, 2005 this explains the group of pictures when you click on your name but as they say what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas Nice effect! Quote
ddustin Posted December 14, 2005 Posted December 14, 2005 Mark, Are the red globs blobbies or a modeled object? Looks interesting to say the least. David Quote
arkaos Posted December 14, 2005 Posted December 14, 2005 FRICKIN' AWESOME. I LOVE IT. Where can I get that plug-in? Quote
JTalbotski Posted December 14, 2005 Posted December 14, 2005 Here: http://www.sgross.com/plugins/ Steffen ported a LOT of his plugins to the Mac, too. So go get them people...and thank Steffen while you're at it. Jim (Edit: poor spelling) Quote
markeh Posted December 14, 2005 Author Posted December 14, 2005 this explains the group of pictures when you click on your name That cracks me up. But you know, that's not my real hair style. The red globs are a sprite. Pretty much the motion of the breaking model dictated the motion of the sprites. I had them grow in size over time which turned out not to be necessary. Once it's out there, there wouldn't be a whole lot of oozing going on. Yes you could practically make a whole movie with Steffen's (very appreciative of other plugin writers as well) plugins. Just add a little dialogue. Thanks for all the comments. Quote
Eric2575 Posted December 14, 2005 Posted December 14, 2005 You've just exposed how sick my girlfriend and I really are. Both of us just busted up laughing. Thanks for the good cheer Quote
Odog2020 Posted December 14, 2005 Posted December 14, 2005 I watched this last night, but didn't get the chance to comment, cause I kept watching it over and over again, laughing so hard that my sides were splitting. My wife said 'he has to much time on his hands' but I was laughing to hard to defend you. Sorry. Quote
Zaryin Posted December 14, 2005 Posted December 14, 2005 That was hilarious! Thanks for posting that. Quote
Kamikaze Posted December 14, 2005 Posted December 14, 2005 Cool , I mean gross in a cool sort of way, You know somethings about to happen when you see him shrink slightly (Is that called Anticipation?) before exploding (follow through?...LOL) into a bloody CG mess, I like scrubbing through the frames just to see where each blood piece goes and does.
