  1. Here is the project file for my Shaggy and Scooby. I couldn't include the chor because of the size of the file. Shaggy is rigged, but there is a problem with the contraints on one of the right hand fingers. No smartskin. SHaggy's hair isn't finished. There's a few basic bones in Scooby for the tail and ears. If anyone uses these just let me know what you used them for and post it here so we can all see it . These models were built quickly for the contest, so they are probably no good for animation. If someone does get a decent rig and animation with these guys let us know that too. I also did a quick toon render of them in the model window. I didn't do my contest in toon because the last time I did that everyone thought I drew it and cheated the contest. Here's the link to that one: http://www.hash.com/stills/displayimage.php?album=11&pos=13 Here's the project file Scooby.zip
  2. Hey Patrick, I know someone did Optimus Prime. I think the pic was for one of the Imagecontests.
  3. Thanks pixlemech. I did decide to make him sleeker than what I really thought Dracs looked like. I might make this a "good" drac, but probably not . I think I found a good ref for the legs. Thanks everyone.
  4. Just hit the browse button underneath where you write your posts and search your PC for the image you want to post. If that option isn't there it might be that you have to wait a crertain amount of posts before you can uplaod an image. EDIT: D'oh! I thought you meant to the boards here, duh. Maybe I should have read a little better. Listen to pixlemech .
  5. It's looking really nice so far. I agree that the hair could come down on the forehead a little. Other than that, it's good.
  6. I love the angle on this one. I really like the daytime lighting.
  7. That is great. I smiled just looking at him.
  8. Was that 3 or 4 years ago! It feels like about 6 months to me. Still looks great. Can't wait to see the updates.
  9. Wow, thanks everyone for your responses. I used to have the Monstrous Compendium back in the day, but gave it away after I stopped playing. Gorf: To answer your question, the splines are discontinuous like that because I just copied and flipped one side without attaching both sides. I decided to do it that way for now, because when I do Copy/Flip/Attach I have alot of 5-point patches along that middle spline so it will cause alot of problems that I will have to fix when I do. I will C/F/A when I finish the legs, arms and wings. Thanks again for the help, guys.
  10. Thanks Xade for the comments. Sorry it took so long to comment on them . I'm thinking about starting this character up again, and had a question... Does anyone have any good refs, or know where I could search, for that human-animal type leg I would like for this guy. I would like to get an idea of what others have done in this situation to get a good looking leg for him. Thanks everyone.
  11. I think that's actually pretty cool. Looks a little like a stop-motion set.
  12. I myself think it looks great. It's at this point were I find it hard to find anything to crit. *thinks abit* Maybe...um...The "FCC" is a little fuzzy on the closer film frames...um...I don't even know if that's a crit...um...no -- that's it, if anything.
  13. John, that looks awesome. Looks like an alien realm of some sort.
  14. The lighting is looking great. The wallpaper seems stretched too much to me now, but that might just be me.
  15. Yeah, that middle of that ani is amazing. Nice work.
  16. It's looking great. I love the lolling tongue.
  17. You just keep getting better and better and making me more jealous ~~~. I love your models and the images you make with them.
  18. Looks like a wind-blown curtain on it's side. Nice.
  19. I actually laughed aloud! That is funny. I agree about maybe darkening the ground slightly. I love it.
  20. It's good to have one of my inspirations back in the grind. Welcome Back.
  21. For all that time was it worth it?... YES! Awesome image.
