  1. Well, anyone who has read any of the Elric books will recognize Stormbringer. Made, and rendered, a few years ago.
  2. Your UFO looks goo so far. Add a skydome. Add some glowing "nurnies", or extras, to the hull. You get it looking even better.
  3. I think the tiled look is still there somewhat. It als odepends on what you are using this for. How "real" are you trying to go?
  4. You said that was the "short" version, haha. Wow, I'm glad you posted that. It let's people know, if not understand, that alot of work goes into making a CG short. You've just made me more anxious to see yours -- and maybe work on some animation and make my own .
  5. Hey Dearmad, are you modeling specific scenes first? In order? What? I'm interested in hearing how your work.
  6. Yeah, I agree with Ken here. If there are too many splines there are not many.
  7. That looks ALOT better. Great job.
  8. HAHA!! I'm sorry to laugh, but I can see how that happens and you get a little strained. I wouldn't worry about it, she it looking great from all sides.
  9. Hey Dark, your scene is look great. Now finish this animation!
  10. I can see how this girl is going to have great hair. I usually don't use photoshop with my images, except to shrink them and paint maps, unless it's something not to do with the Image Contest. Since that's all I seem to do anymore -- damn you Colin, and your challange! -- I never use it *sigh*. Vong - I was thinking that same thing, but decided not to say anything .
  11. Man, you guys suck! Suck so HARD!!! ... Ok, now that my jealousy is out of the way. Awesome. I can't wait to see this ani .
  12. Looking good so far, but you have way more splinage than you need. This will happen for most people when they first start making faces. All I can say is try to keep your spline count down. It'll help with animation with less splines. Still looks good though.
  13. Hey Jim, can we see a non-post version of the pic? I like it, but would like to see what it looks like straight out of A:M. Please...
  14. I remember you Antony, welcome back. I also love your style. It's one of my favorite anime styles since I started playing the FF games years ago.
  15. So far, it's looking good, a little aliased, but I assume you will be rendering a higher quality later .
  16. I loooove the texture on that table.
  17. I have no idea how to use these either, sorry . Just thought it might be a good idea that someone would understand better than me, haha.
  18. UGH! I remember that, John! That was horrible. *shivers in disgust*
  19. Yuu might be able to create a relaitionship with the null and the two eye bones to stop them from going too far in one direction. That new Tech Talk tutorial talks about how to create relationships if you don't know how to use them.
  20. Like Vash said, without being os harsh. Your splinage is great, but your placement is off. I'd say at least 80% of modeling is tweaking the mesh after the initial modeling is done. Just tweak to get rid of those lumps and to smooth it out and you'll have a good model there.
  21. Way better in this lighting. I would watch that piece of hair going through her ear though.
  22. That looks pretty good. Hopefully that guy in the List Forum can use this idea for himself.
  23. Yeah, I definately like the hair pink. She looks great.
