The idea of following the guide lines was excellent, but the implementation is showing a lot of technical mistakes... - first and more important rule when you are modeling...a single cp CAN´T be a vertex for more than 4 patches (1) - Watch out for segments of the spline (2) - Use the hooks with care (3) - It is inadvisable to use hook in patches with 5/3 cps (4) I put some indication in your image as examples Keep us updated... Thanks Nancy ... but .... I think that the problem is in my players in Win XP because when I use the Quicktime to watch the animation in Windows Vista ( I have a dual boot here ) it is fine with the correct colors ....

I tried MOV and AVI .. - If I open the animation in any MOV or AVI player it seems smoked... - If I import the same animation in A:M or other movie editor the colors are fine.... thank you friends ....

I changed gamma to 2.2.. check it again please _______________________________________________ WIP #2 : - Fixed the position of the hand on the waist. - Fixed the moviments of the head and eyes on the words "ch..change for me." - Added a little *snif* after "...this girl that he loves". - Fixed gamma to 2.2 11 SECOND - OCTOBER - WIP #2 _______________________________________________ I´m having a little problem here... as you can see in the picture below when I render a scene inside A:M the color is normal but when I render it to file and open in quicktime player the animation seems to be smoked ( I don´t know if this is the correct term ).. if I import the animation in A:M the color is normal .... Is there some option to change inside Quicktime ? the same problem occour if I render file to AVI and open it in Windows Media Player.

The modeling of a basic mech model, in a direct way, uses all the beginnigs that are used in an advanced mech model. CARS TO VOTE ... ALFA ROMEO GT BMW 7 MAZDA CX7 AUDI A6 CHRYSLER 300 and here... some cars that I modeled in the last two years.

Hi ... ambitious model !! I notice that you are committing small and common mistakes to any beginner. First CP rule if you want a soft patch transition. Never... I said never use a single control point as vertex for more than 4 patches... I used your wire reference to show you how could be modeled the problematic parts ... -the green dots are hooks -the white lines are where were the '5 patches' cps' good luck !

thanks all for your comments .... I will return to this exercise later, then I will use all of the pieces of advice proposed by you. Regarding the crack in the ground, I applied a displecement and I adjusted the percentage directly in the choreography. I just decided to incorporate crack to give more emphasis to the weight. I promisse to be more accurate in the next update Thanks again
