  1. Need some help on cloth. I have looked through the section on cloth simulations, but does anyone have a tut on placing clothes on a body? Steve
  2. Reworked shoulders, arms and torso. Placed legs on the body and just playing with some color and sss. Steve
  3. Finally had some time to get the body, arms and hands into place. Here is a shot.
  4. Got the ears in place and i am happy with them for now. I have started on the mouth and should have that completed Friday. I am trying to use Will Sutton's method on teeth. Steve
  5. Thanks Guys. The arms of the glasses have not been attached yet and I will bevel those guys. Ok on the patch of the lens, it should not be extruded? Rodney I like Zundels stuff (especially the eye brows) but also Jim Talbot? Some of his stuff on the cd is really incredible. I have watch those tutorials dozens of times. Steve
  6. I want to create a set of glasses and the lens part needs to be thick. However, I am having a hard time modeling the lens. Here are the glasses so far. When I extrude the glass portion and apply transparency the splines are visible in the glasses Steve
  7. Got the neck in place and started on the glasses and ears tonight. Corrected all the bias tonight. Here is a wire frame Steve
  8. Ok I am hapy with the shape of the nose. I will add the ears and then clean up time.
  9. It has been a while since I created something for fun. Here is the first render of the new character I started. I hope to have the head completed by Tuesday night. Steve
  10. Paul Very nice model. Great Job! Steve
  11. Hi Mark I am finally feeling better and have started back playing with AM. I have followed the rig but had a question. (I have 15e running) Is the mirror bones plugin working on 15? Thanks, I am getting started tonight. Steve
  12. I rigged the character and never really got it to work correctly. Then work happened over the past 7 months I have been busier than I ever have. Being an insurance claims adjuster full time has been rough over the past 5 years with all the catastophes. Anyway three nights ago I decided to start on the face again. Here is the character with the new head in place. I have placed "helmet hair" for now. I have reworked the hands and head shoulders and back, etc...
  13. David Will Bertram wear the gymnast suit that we talked about? Steve
  14. Added a little color but made a great deal of changes to the hand Steve
  15. Excellent! I see the placement of the thumb is to low in respect to the wrist. Also the thumb needs to be rotated even more. I am working on it now Steve Edit I have roated the thumb and moved it vertical on the hand
  16. I did it on both sides and was able to get the palms with more definition and the back side to get the crease between the fingers. Steve
  17. I pulled the cp back away from the center as suggested and it gave the palm a better look Steve
  18. Very Nice! Every since I watched Briar Rose Trailer I have wanted to do a dragon. I have bought books and looked at others view of what a dragon would look like. I have started twice but I have not been happy with the results. Yours looks great. Steve
  19. I will give that a try tonight. Thanks for the notes. Steve
  20. Thanks. You are right the rig is very flexible. However, the placement of the thumb and its rotation never looked right. Especially when I had the character make a fist. The thumb would not cover the fingers when using the sliders. It was in my setup of the rig and the geometry of the hand. So I started over on the hand and the characters head. I hope to have a face to show here shortly. Work has been rough and I have not been able to do much for about two months. Steve
  21. Thanks for the comments Mark Skodacek has helped me the most with his posts about rigging with Squetch Rig. He had some drawings that made me realize the hands I had placed on a couple of characters would not be possible. Thanks to him. Steve
  22. I have always had problems modeling the hands. Here is a WIP of the hands for my rework of a character I started last year.
  23. I will give that a try tonight. You learn everyday. I will send an update Steve
  24. Here is the scene as it will appear in the animation Steve
  25. Excellent!. Thanks to you and David for all the hard work!! The same instructions apply as far as the installation of the poses? Steve
