  1. Thanks Guys. Hopefully she will have some clothes on the next time I up load something! Steve
  2. Moved chest down and rounded out the face. I am happy with it and now going onto the hair and clothing. This will be a challenge. Steve I wasn't happy and woke up from bed a came up and tried to figure out what the problem on the face. I had the face to diagonal almost to a point. So I pulled and rounded the face some more.
  3. Nice train. I am big train fan and will do an engine someday. Steve
  4. Thanks for the help! I made the change and she looks a lot better! I will upload the face tonight and then the legs and feet hopefully will be completed as well Steve
  5. Hi Steve I think you are right. She needs to be around 30 -35. I will round out the face a bit more. Steve
  6. Here is the body update and will get the feet on tomorrow. Changed arms, shoulders, trunk area and the hips, got most of the leg into position and now clean up Steve
  7. I liked the idea that Nancy had about increasing the size of the eyes. So I increased her eyes by about 15% Here is a shot of the face
  8. Thanks Steve She has been the hardest thing I have modeled yet. Steve
  9. Alright last shot of the night. I am off to bed, but here is the style I want for her. Long legs that I will clean up tomorrow. Steve
  10. I am going to try cloth simulation. I have been reading how Jesse did his and I want to try this as well. Steve
  11. Now I remember why I have not modeled any women before, they are harder. Here is a shot of the body with a little nudity. Steve
  12. I was passing by the tv and saw Pretty Woman was on, I watched Julia Roberts for a few minutes and realized a great number of things you guys have been talking about was right there. Sometimes you are blinded by sitting so close to the screen. Steve
  13. Thanks Steve and Nancy Here is the roto I drew, someone looking like a comic book character. She is the love interest in the short. She will be dressed in a red cocktail dress. She will walk by the men as they fight to get her attention. She will continue to walk by them and across the street. Only after an event will she turn and look at the hero of the short. Steve Here is the hero she will fall for in the short.
  14. Very good suggestions on the links. Here is a shot of the distance between mouth and nose and mouth and chin narrowed. I have exaggerated the puffy cheeks. Pulled the ears into the head more since they will be hidden by the hair anyway. I had never noticed the eyebrows out so much so removed the eyebrow and reworked the bridge of the nose tieing into the forehead. I have included a 3/4 shot with wire frame. I have really pulled the cheeks out. Let me know what you think Steve
  15. Thanks for the websites. I like the listing. Some of the items very good suggestions. Steve
  16. Thanks, Cheek bones have always been hard to get away from tweaking. If you get those right you get the look you are going for. Stopping and getting a way helped me too as I was able to see what I needed to tweak. I have her torso done and will upload that when I get the legs and arms on Steve
  17. Worked a little more on her tonight. Moved eyes in, created ears, pulled forehead down, shaped the head more, redid the checks yet again - and for now I am going to leave the head alone as a great deal will be covered with the hair. I keep forgetting I am not going for realistic but rather a style Steve
  18. I have now reworked the face 4 times and feel better about it but the one area just at the bottom of the check is warping. so I am going to walk away for a while and come back and visit tonight Steve
  19. Ok here is the first run at the female. Steve Edit I widen the eye socket. Deleted a great deal of splines. and now it is time to clean up the faceadd ears and mouth but that is for tomorrow
  20. Thanks Gene! Like I stated in the last post, David Simmons is the man. It would have taken me a long time on the rig, David had a working rig back it just minutes it seemed like. I have rigged one of the characters so far. It will take me a while. I am off finally starting on the woman tonight. Steve
  21. Here is a test render for the arrow shot from Cupid Steve thanks to David Simmons for the help on the bow rig arrow.mov
  22. Thanks Steve. I started drawing the rotoscope for the starlette of my short. Should have some updates shortly. David sent me some ideas on rigging. I hope to have the characters moving in the near future. Steve
  23. Thanks Nancy! Here is Cupid's arrow. and now bow and arrow Steve
  24. I have to agree. I watched one as well today and I have to agree that the tone set my the character before any animation is critical. Right off you know the character's attitude before he moves. Case in point, Presto, the short from Wall-e. Here are two more shots and I am now happy with color and placement of the hair and I am starting on the next character. The darker color is with the MuHair shader Steve
  25. Thanks Gene Thanks Steve. I will update with color of hair tonight. One thing the webinar taught me was the planning. Planining of the model, plan the shot, etc.. I have always worked from a rotoscope on the modeling, but the limited animation I have done was done from my head. So with the project I just started I had already made a list of things I wanted. But after yesterday I started a little more planning. Steve
