  8. OK, I am just getting into the game with AO. I have been frustrated with it so far but see potential. Others can create a wonderful look of daylight with it. Here is a shot with basic settings. How do you get a better light for the front? I know someone told me to increase the ambiance of the object but that did not work. Steve
  9. Is there a way to set up the pose slider to be segmented into 9 steps. I am making a locomotive throttle and there are 9 positions (idle plus 8 run). This applies to all the sliders in the new animation I am working on. Also as the slider hits run poisition 3 a three will need to be displayed on the throttle. Just need a little help to get things going Steve

  22. Wonderful Nancy. The AO render does look great. If needed I have a 20 machine render farm that needs a project. I know time is a problem. Steve
  23. Wonderful! Steve
  24. Holmes Even though I lost a huge amount of items in the water damage the worst was the hard drive crash. I have put off buying anything for myself (computer wise) for three years. I have bought small items here and there but no major purchase for a while. I tried three times to rebuild the machine in which the the hard drive crashed but after every rebuild something else crashed. I have a money paying gig that needs to be completed in Jan and well it was time for a new machine. It is totally devoted to animations and graphics. Steve
  25. That is way to cool! And way above me! Steve
