  1. I've come up with an idea to show the ears as a mesh Bill. Could you use a photo of a mesh as a decal? I've not used decals yet (next exercise) but it seems a good idea in theory.
  2. Just a thought, but I'm sure you could get permission from some of the AM users who enter the stills competitions to use their images in the frames.
  3. Nice image! My favourite bits are the sea surface above and the sparkling bubble effect. Great work!
  4. Nice one Bill! I like the continuity of the design between the two different models, you've really stamped your own style on them. Keep posting.
  5. I think he looks great in 3d! The 2d looks better in his empty surroundings but I think if you put him in a proper setting 3d would win! Keep posting!
  6. Great idea! Don't forget to post. Teeth are looking good! Keep smiling....heh..heh..!
  7. Hey Daniel! Great progress. The shot with the reflections is particularly good. Are you planning to put pictures in the frames or are they there as a work of art in themselves. Keep posting.
  8. Keep it up Scott! If animation was quick and easy everyone would be doing it. You're making great progress. Keep posting.
  9. Nice work Scott! When can we expect the mayhem to begin?
  10. Another great piece of work Brandon! A very unnerving image.
  11. Looks (and sounds) good! Nice idea with the lipsync. Are you going to post in 3d to see how that works?
  12. Looks great Bill! If you're having trouble with what appears from your description to be a mechanical type movement I'd suggest you contact ddustin , if he does not respond to this thread. He specializes in mechanical models. Hope this helps.
  13. Hair looks great John! I see what you mean about the arm. Try altering it's position in the choeography.
  14. Impressive stuff Scott! Great concept art, better than my stick men Keep posting.
  15. Works well! Something unusual about the reflection in that the red light shows up more when it is switched off? Can anyone think why? ddustin: Are you creating these mechanical models for an animation or is modeling your thing? I'd sure like to see these models in their own environment. Keep posting!
  16. Looks good! I left clicked and it downloaded with realdownload (pc).
  17. Hi Christina! It's very interesting following your project. Do you set yourself targets to complete various stages or do you prefer to complete each part in however long it takes? I know targets can get you focused but not meeting the can be very frustrating. Keep up the good work.
  18. Nice work nerrazzi! Keep posting.
  19. It should be in choreography properties.
  20. Nice work! When you've finished why not post it at hash.com, I'm sure more users will download the model from there. Look forward to the end result. Cheers.
  21. I've not used this myself but did you know that you can set glow intensity up to a max of 1000%? Hope this helps.
  22. Good luck Jess! Keep us posted.
  23. Best of luck with pitching your project Mike. Keep us posted as to progress. Thanks for clarifying my animatic question.
  24. Yeh, 4 x 4 offroad Daleks!
  25. Looking forward to this one Jeff I'm a big Dalek fan! Great news! I checked the links, wonder how they're going to give a Dalek legs without ruining the design? My guess is that they did use tail lights. Keep posting Jeff! PS Interestingly enough the spell check recognizes the word Dalek! Maybe they do exist....
