  1. For the people who didn't want to waste a second of their time looking over amfilms
  2. I don't love the bumps under their chins. Can we see what they would look like without? They would still have distinct silhouettes, but it would get rid of a part that seems like it's going a bit overboard. Great characters other than that. Zack
  3. Please keep the old Lev Vy! He's so awesome.
  4. I'd work on the glass settings (I assume it's glass). and add a little bit of wear in your texturing, so it looks more realistic. Looks like good work nonetheless
  5. wow, great results on that last one. I've forgotten how to make selections with paths, it always ends up just filling my paths in w/ some color. I don't really like when it does this. I'm a bit of a photoshop n00b.
  6. Grammar.... Great job, Sam. I'm gonna use this .
  7. Here I explain the super basics of splines (specifically for people used to polygons): Splines (and how to make a ball)
  8. There's a problem with the chair in the corner. It's material doesn't look right... .... .. ... ..... .... ... Have fun looking for the chair in the corner.... Zachary Taich p.s. Great work.
  9. Thank you for your admission. You were just digging yourself a bigger hole with this: The facts are: a ) software does not make the art. Just because I try and do work as good as Jim Talbot's ( ), and I'm using A:M doesn't mean it will look the same. and B ) The design is not simple! Not at all! It's an awesome, complex design. Glad to see you came out clean.
  10. This is the part I have trouble with. At least say you're using someone else's design. Don't claim it's your idea (PATENT PENDING!!! does suggest that).
  11. Only because you did! (the idea at least). But it's ok, everyone models based on others concepts once in a while. Did you trace? looks like a good job. Shi Kai Wang did this in 1998 for Halo:
  12. Looks awesome. CPs or patches? that looks like more than 800 CPs.
  13. This client is using A:M for all thw work? Or are you conterting it? Looks good. The simplicity actual has a nice effect...
  14. you beat me to it! Well I hope you get the idea Rob from what John posted
  15. Ok, why won't it work with 10.5? sounds cool anyways. Look forward to the "swaying" feature. Zack
  16. Looks good for swaying in the wind... I think I'm gonna make an animated .gif later.
  17. I'll help draw out a splinage when I have a chance, maybe tonight pretty late. Cool design.
  18. I don't want to see this thread die.
  19. Prepare to be interested! All you have to do (in PS elements 2.0 at least) is go to select>load selection then choose Alpha 1. I used to be an elements zealot. Then I finally gathered up the cash and bought photoshop, it was worth it. But you'd be surprised how much you can get for just 99 bucks. Maybe someday I'll make a minitutes that tells you how to do common photoshop things easily in photoshop elements. Zachary Taich
  20. Looks really good, my only suggestion would be exagerating the poses even more.
  21. Looks great. I initially read it as el burrito . Zachary Taich
