  1. w00t! Eggprops! It's up! Can't wait to see everything back up and running.
  2. Looks cool. It would be much easier if he had eyelids.
  3. I love the eyelids. Let's make him a little bit less stoned looking though, shall we?
  4. I tried a while ago. The problem as I see it is that CA is a huge place. Even a San Francisco Bay Area group, like I tried to make, covers about a 100 mile radius. I'd be glad to restart efforts towards a group. Where are you located?
  5. That's the porcelain. Your normals are flipped. We have quite a few threads of frantic people trying to figure out what this is . Press Shift+1. This displays the direction of your normals. select all the points of a patch who's line is pointing inwards (your 5 point patches have this problem). Press 'f'. This should solve it. It may look a bit weird still after you do this to all of them, but once you close the project and reopen it, it should be fixed. It's really coming together. I like it a lot. Oops... you already figured this out. sorry for being repetitive.
  6. Maybe just a little bit of that... *swerves and hits a wall*
  7. Looks great Zach. I look forward to another 48 hours in 2005. Shove it. just kidding...
  8. I'm not seeing the problem. Remove that CP in the middle of the free hanging spline and make 2 5 point patches. If it's still not as smooth as you want you may consider adding a spline so that the 5 point patches are seperated by a single 4 point patch.
  9. Awesome!! So, when's Duck Sauce gonna make it, huh? For a second I though it was gonna be Duck Sauce. Congrats.
  10. Glad to see you entered! Great job. I still would like to see another composition that's closer to his face.
  11. you've ran out of bandwidth. Try photobucket.com or picserver.tk for your photostorage (they're free, I currently use photobucket). Better yet, you can directly link them.
  12. Looking good, though it's going to be hard to out-do what you did last year! Zack
  13. Can we see a wire? it looks a bit bumpy, but nice job.
  14. Maybe a bit more from the front, unless you're looking for a blueprint "here's the side view" approach.
  15. Maybe a big smile and some teeth and a lower angle would be more mascot worthy. A lower angle would be a great first step. You want to see the character from his eye level, or somewhere nearby. great modelling though!
  16. Thanks. Wow this thread came back out of no where!
  17. I don't suggest Zevel with v11. I can't get good results. I highly suggest beveling for realism, but if your client just wants a really basic mockup, then by all means, use what you have.
  18. The hands may be a bit small, but the main thing I notice is that his arms and legs are too thick. good job though. Looks very much like the original. Zack
  19. How do you make your own icons? well... How do you change the settings for the icons?
  20. yeah, it's not a part of the scene, it's just a watermark.. I've probably got a non watermarked version somewhere...
  21. Well, might as well post the final image here.
  22. Wow, I'm really excited that A:M models work that well. I can't wait for more info on this project.
  23. I also see nothing. Geocities is not good for storage of large files. It is however perfectly suitable for holding a website which will not be seen by TOO many people monthly. It's the provider I use. www.zack3d.tk redirects to >>> www.geocities.com/zt3d/
  24. show us the new mesh. It still looks really messy. It's pointless to try and fix a messy mesh with plugins and roll handles.
