this was on lower patches that were 4 point patvhes that were 5 split line patchlines.zip Just tried an example in 16 found that group image does not like 5 point patches but works fine with 4

change a few settings add displacement as suggested above and get this cellturbez2.mov cellturbmatez2.zip that would make a great animated sprite -
cellturbez.mov a little displacement would make this better just add material again and choose displacement percent and animate the same cellturbmatez.zip

smile4b.mov Tinkered with it a little The model only has the one material (edited) applied to it then adjusted the material with poses besides the sprite emitter if anyone wants the original material project let me know

smiletrial.mov Found an smiley face project the Anzovins had done using the spherical material combiner to built a smiley face playing with it to figure how they did it and now Thom has a face going to play with it some more to see if I can add and/or change the expression
