Had some inquires about explosions so here is a simple one....also search forum ..if there is some interest will try to do simple tutorial if time allows explosion_simple.mov mp4 version: explosion_simple.mp4 explode_simple_wSprites.zip sprites in data\material\particle\sprites free data that can be downloaded with program (mod note: Sprites now included in ZIP)

  12. this is actually very thin pillow that in order to get more patches I exported as obj file at 4 patches for one hash patch then imported

  15. This almost worked but probably needs a mesh with more patches tcloth.mov tcloth.zip it does with dense mesh t2cloth.mov t2cloth.zip

  21. sweptthinexposed2.mov method2.zip second method model select all name outside then extrude into model very little call that inside to inside group apply the decal included as a cookie cutter group image then vary transparency of outside to expose inside group

Okay the "secret" is Nancy has it correct I swept a very small circle over the wireframe of Thom then had that model and the real model standing in the same spot and have the actual thom model go from 0 to 100% transparent and vice versa for the swept thom model sweptthinexposed.mov so to do this need sweeper plug-in
  23. Yes had collision detection on but I think mesh has to be dense to stop the hair see new post on hair
