  2. I have noticed that turning on collision detection with hair and it goes wild and thought .... it had been reported ....not the helps you but at least you are not alone
  3. in the latest version of qt while mov is running click on view then click on loop I usually have to do it twice then when you stop it asks save and say yes then it loops....this is the free version of qt ..

It will be invisible until you goto the model in the chor not in the model area but where it appears in the chor and then set the value back to 100% but so it does not change gradually change it to 0% the frame before to set a point before you change it to 100% then it will be 0% say from frame 1 to 15 at 16 it become visible

I could make a tut but its too late tonight here is a $1.98 sample done in v13 [attachmentid=15488] I used a pose to turn a cookie cutter map on by changing it from color at 0% to Cookie cutter at 100% The displacemnt and color map by changing the 100% of image from 0% to 100% Turned on the hair material emitter length from 0% to 100% All this with one on/off pose [attachmentid=15489] Could post a simple on/of color decal tut maybe later if there is interest or if Gene wants too .   10. Not sure what part you are having trouble doing. Here is a simple project with 3 "missles" firing and flying in different paths. Its the same model follwing one of three paths. The start and end is done by adjusting the ease. The end is the explosion sprite material on the cd. I did this as a wmv file which I think can now be see by Mac users to reduce the size this has audio http://johnl.inform.net/images/convert.wmv If need be I can get this out as a QT instead Not shown but possible converting qt to avi etc In this I change QT (animation ) to QT (sorenson3) also QT to tga sequence all in AM since website gone here is the file convert.wmv okay found qt version convert.mov
