  1. look here http://www.hash.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=30828 toward the bottom I wrote a quick descrition of what I did ...is this what you want to do?
  2. rules = constraints in a pose or action select the bone right click new constraint and among them you'll find what you're looking for
  3. Or if nothing else uninstall am and the reinstall it (if your using a pc you could also delete it from the registry first if you are comfortable with that) or on a mac I believe you delete the preference folder ..not a mac person....then reinstall
  4. are you using the latest version of qt...it might be causing the problem update I uninstalled the latest quicktime and installed the version before that and the rotoscope problem you mentioned disappeared
  5. Live footage of what ? And add the human torch effect to a mmodel or onto the footage ?

  11. Audacity load file export as wave AM import image animation...choose avi file right click on avi file choose save as choose mov and compression

  17. took way action and in a pose added a random expression to change the stiffness in the dynamic section for hair afeather.mov afeather.zip
  18. I didn't try wind but attempted a very quick wing flap with some groomed feather image hair made maybe a bit to stiff but here is what I got feather.mov featther.zip project with feather.tga Wish I had more time to play

  22. Caroline is correct check the direction of the normals you'll see the hair going into the model here is a render of 2 5 point patches with hair
  23. Sorry John trying to animate like the great Dhar msword.mov needs some tweaks at the wrist and sleeve to start with this was the first render msword.zip
  24. Okay I took a light and turn on just the sun beam for the flare and setup a few easy expressions to animated the beams/and intensity and got this beam.mov Not sure why you are not gettting beams maybe the intensity is too low. v15web prokect file should work in at least v14 beam.zip
