  1. If you MUST know Nancy, I'm not going to spend $50 on software that is going to expire and I can no longer support (for the people who bought the cd). So in order to do that, I would need to pay $300 for the cd, which I'm not ready to spend. $300 is 3 years of the old upgrade, which I didn't have a problem spending. So who knows when I'll decide to upgrade. At this point, David and I do most of our work in v13t, so to not to neglect other users who have not upgrade, for their own reasons. David already drop support on v11 and v12 so we have one version, which works in v13t and v14c. And, if it works in v13t and v14c, but doesn't in v15, then it's an issue with AM (something has changed).
  2. Because I don't and neither does David.
  3. Come down Nancy, all I'm saying is you seem to be the only one with the reparenting issue. I'm not accusing you of anything. This is an issue with AM, not the rig. Send in a report. As for the image, the sneer null IS translated and the face mesh IS in the position of the sneer. See my clip I posted in my previous post. I don't have v15, so I can't test it.
  4. Holmes, is it possible that you moved the sneer null in the window, then used the pose slider to turn the sneer pose off? This would cause the sneer null to stop working. Or maybe have the sneer pose set to 100% in the user properties? sneer.mov
  5. I'm not sure what you are talking about Nancy. To me, it looks as though the sneer pose is working in the image you posted. As for the other problem, I don't know, you are the only one that seems to have this problem.
  6. The sneer pose/control works fine for me (v14c). I'm not sure why you are having a problem. Try redownloading the zip. Do you still have v13 or v14 installed on your computer? If you do, try it in thoses versions to see if it works.
  7. You still need to go through step 6 (eyes, eyelids, brows, jaw and what ever else you would need). Step 7 is just preference.
  8. Are you translating any bones manually in the action or in the modeling window? Can you post just your action file?
  9. AM's constraint system works a bit differently now. The rig is outdated and doesn't work like it use to. And no, v15 doesn't fix this. If you have v12, it may work like it did for Jeff Lew on his DVD.
  10. We're also going to look into generic poses so the FACE will work for the most part. Some poses will need editing, but it will be better than not having them setup at all.
  11. Step 4 would work, but as David said, it could be straightened out a bit.
  12. Step 3 I would move the shoulder install towards the center more and move the arm install closer to the body.
  13. Step 2 I would move the the white leg install towards the center a bit. Raise the ankle height slightly and move the toe up and back. The knee could move a bit forward as well.
  14. Ok, here my take. Step 1 as David said.
  15. mtpeak2

    Bug?

You can also go into the camera properties and input values in the transform fields for translation and rotation.
  16. Both methods would work, which would better, I don't know. They both have their advantages and disadvantages.
  17. Looking good, I'm glad to hear the boolean cutter worked out for you. I would suggest adding more color to the chiefs shirt.
  18. There is a whole sub forum devoted to the squetch rig in the rigging and relationships forum.
  19. I guess you got it figured out. Just make sure the geometry for the boolean cutter has enough splines to make the different shapes.
  20. Rusty, you can go through the steps to install the rig in an action and have it ready. Just don't export the model yet, the action will work with any of the new updates. The installation process hasn't changed. Most of the changes have been in the text file instructions.
  21. I think a hairline crack with a bandage on it, would be funny to see. On his forehead, perhaps. Also, for the mouth you could use a boolean cutter. I've done this before and it works pretty well. Then you just animate the mesh of the boolean to get the mouth shapes. sptoontest.mov
  22. I think in v15, when you create a NEW constraint, the compensate button is automaticly ON. But recompensating, it's still OFF, so you'll need to hit the compensate button. I don't know for sure though.
  23. Your doing some great work here Sebastian. Keep it up.
  24. The targeting looks ok to me. Adjust the "eyeblink setup" poses in the FACE interface folder. (not the auto preset ones)
  25. I'll take a look and see if I missing some of the targeting bones. The blink targets may be out of position. [EDIT] The blink poses in the Face interface may need adjusting. (p31 pdf)
