Have a great Birthday Mark!
-
I think those characters have character . You know who is who and that's half way home to something pretty cool. Had to smile when I first looked at these and look forward to seeing what you might be up to. Great start!

Mark, Now That's amazing! Great job indeed. Awesome.

William- This is the age old problem for folks who like to toil in this garden. It takes a lot of time. And time that if you are working full time for others you will not ever get to use. The flip side it usually pays the bills for you and whoever else you care take for. Jumping ship is not a easy decision to make. One I could not make myself right now for sure but the idea of working all your time at something you love is pretty compelling and I would be envious. A tough choice indeed. Good luck either way.

Hope you have a great birthday Rodney -- you deserve it for all you do here ! Thanks for your wonderful efforts and enjoy your BD.

Happy New Year Hash folks!! And a healthy and prosperous New Year to all. And of course happy AM'ing all through 2012 for all.

Hello, I'm Back -- So What's Been Happening ? :)

Astrin, Big welcome back. And yes latest versions are indeed way better in every way to the old ones. You will not be disappointed in how nice ver 16 really is. -
So bruce , what is the duration of each "shot" from the perspective of the voyeur?

Robert's stuff is stellar indeed.
-
thanks Robert, I will try and use him for my practicing then. There's a lot to animation here and just needed to start digging into some stuff with that. I have kind of been slowly taking pieces of the AM process and working my way around all the things but making a character still not coming along as fast as i would like but in between that ---It will be good to start practicing some animation techniques with the tools we have here.
-
Just go to view then open project workspace . It will open on left side. And every time you make a new model it will be called model so just rename it for clarity.
-
So , lets suppose the big bad gods took away all your own characters and you were left with choosing only one library actor. Who would it be? I am asking because I am still working on learning modeling and do hope hope to create my own characters someday but in the meantime I need to also work on learning animation techniques and just wondered what some of your thoughts would be on that. Thanks.

Welcome back larswik! Now that you have it you probably already feel the nice stableness as compared to years of ole. And Indeed -the community forum here is amazing for help. Most of time every question gets answered within a day or much sooner. So ask and ye shall have answers. You will also find so much learning items just searching through the forums. So enjoy ! AM really is better than ever.

Fuchur, I think the current planned option makes it best for AM'ers- who would like some helpful modeling tools. I think it is gonna be so so helpful . A auto tool although a great time saver perhaps does not advance ones splinnage skills either as much. So given limited resources for developement ---I think what we are going to get is awesome.
-
I think you are right John, The Poly world folks have kind of snubbed or ignored the spline world of AM despite its awesome animation capabilities ----now this may be a way for maybe both sides of the fence to enjoy more.

Thanks for posting this-----despite some issues this seems like a really nice addition to our workflows.

Nice Model Carl....and your right Rodney --Carl's website is worth a look.

How do you apply a decal to a model you flattened in a pose?
