  1. Ah, the good ol' days! Remember this wizard? I do seriously miss that html tab in the LIbrary. I think they removed it expressly because I had started to use it when no one else did. The only thing off here in Win 10 is that pink area around the wizard that should be rendered transparent .
  2. Nice one Rodger! The smoke and steam stands up fine for me. I did notice my mind started to wander just a little as the general repetition at the beginning didn't change much. The music may have been what held my attention until I began to sense the imagery changing. A few changes in scenery likely would have welcome... and occasional bush or patch of dirt etc. I was very surprised not to see some strobing of the tracks as they came more clearly into view. That worked quite well.
  3. I remember that. (the water project stuff... not the actual shark attack) Great stuff Robert!
  4. Now you've got me wondering how far back A:M was able to do that (swapping of BVH without reconstraining). In my tests that's tended to be the thing that kept me from moving forward with BVH animation.... the requirement to re-constrain everything.
  5. Looks great Ken!
  6. It took me three tries because evidently my browser had stored the wrong username and password so 'Rodney' wasn't my email address and the password just wasn't correct. After entering my email address and old password manually I was able to login.
  7. I'm fascinated by how you managed to get a new cast to reprise the original roles of the classic Stalled Trek. hehe I eagerly wait to see the results!
  8. Avast isn't evil but it's related to evil. In other news: They have invented a 100% secure computer but unfortunately it is so secure no one can use it.
  9. That sciaky advert is top of the line. Well done Matt!
  10. Steffen probably explained before how A:M on the Mac had to be 32bit or somesuch but it didn't appear long enough on my radar to sink into memory.
  11. Apple reportedly is also dropping support for OpenGL and OpenCL... moving to Metal. (A:M should already be 64bit on the Mac)
  12. In watching your sequence and my edited one side by side it looks to me like you intentionally want to have Eddie stop mid air... pause for a minute (wiley coyote style) and then drop straight down. If that is the case I missed it the first time and you may want to exaggerate that hold in mid air a few frames so that it registers with the audience. Here's your sequence with mine in the corner for comparison of timing.
  13. My thought is that the screeching/brakes sounds comes a little late and because of the speed at which Eddie launches off the horse it might be good to remove a few frames to speed up his flip. There is about a beat.. maybe two between when the galloping sound stops and when the screeching/brakes is heard. It works as is of course... there's humor built right in. I'm adding a gif animation where I attempted to smooth out Eddies launch off the horse by removing frames that were doubled. I see that a lot of the animation at that part of the action is on 2s and fast actions generally work best on 1s where every frame changes to augment the sense of speed. I don't know how much you want to work on this segment. I'd be good to work the horse's stop and Eddies trajectory. You aren't far from where it should be but there are several things you can do to smooth it all out and put that final 10% polishing. If you do want to spend some time on it.... hey... I'm game! Aside: all in all I'm guessing i removed about 20 frames and a few more could have been tweeked. The plus side of removing frames would be that you could also remove that gap between sounds (horse gallop and screech) and then the audio and images might still be in sync.
  14. You know you've arrived when people are using your artwork as graffiti.
  15. Congrats once again Dusan! Wow. Hard to believe that 'Perk' is fast approaching 20 years old.
  16. Nicely done and barring some crazy reason why the update can't be done reads as a very smart idea. That definitely conveys the desired outcome although I suspect to hit the level of detail/clarity Robert mentions would require more than just removing the flying camera. What you have there should be more than adequate for someone to determine what needs to be done so they can submit a bid on the project.
  17. Rodney

    Hey there

Great to have you here Hieunguyen!
  18. Perhaps if you use an AVI (or MOV in 32bit)
  19. Perhaps you have a negative light?
  20. I can't speak to Win 10 Pro as I only have the home edition. Fuchur?
  21. But... but... I live in the OTHER direction! Progress being made.
  22. For those that have the latest Windows 10 update there is a new feature called the Timeline. It's basically an updated Task Menu (and Microsoft's way to potentially sift through a ton of user usage data). Many of the programs I use don't seem to work in the Timeline. I must assume the reason they don't is because they are not native Microsoft applications. They don't appear at all in the Timeline except while active. Those that do can be reverted to the time they last saved something (at least that's what it looks like from here but there is strange stuff going on here) Of all the programs I've tried A:M is the one that works best. I think this is because A:M's menu system stores its settings in the Windows registry. So... not only does the file open.. but the state of the menus returns right along with that. Note that upon selecting the 'state' from the timeline a new instance of A:M will launch and open the project. In this way you don't have to close your current work down. I'm scratching my head a little because some things don't quite make sense. More exploration necessary. For anyone else leaning forward into Win10 definitely check out the Timeline with A:M. And please report back!
