I can see a practical use for it... going around the house shutting lights off at night as people come around behind me and turn them back on... I wake-up at 5am and every light in the house in on!

I believe that is the next logical step with this contraption... to dress it up like a poppet (puppet that pops up!) whose hand toggles off the switches.

The additional comedy/cuteness would be displayed on the face of the poppet.
