-Yeah, that's way good! Show us your reference and some wireframes!

Don't you do it Pixilplucker... we'll tear you into little bitty pieces.

Just kidding.

If you plan to animate your head there 'are' good and bad ways to lay your splines out and you can definitely get help here that will save you down the road.

For a first try that's really nice! If you had any idea how difficult ears are to do you never would have gotten such good results!

Damn, you're right! No one told this guy how difficult this was supposed to be! Well Pixelgrabber, now that you know, next time your model won't come out so good!

Thanks for the encouragement!

I have been modeling for years but never with splines until last few months when I purchased AM. Majority of my models are objects and created in Amapi Pro or Hexagon. There is so much you can do in AM you can easliy get lost because the menu and tools are so refined but I love the short learning curve.

Below is another shot of the head and also a frog I made and still rigging.

Nice. Very nice.

More than a few artists have found the learning curve to be very easy with A:M.

You've definitely got it going.

This is definitely true. Keep it simple. Don't get too distracted.

Chasing after everything thats cool is too easy to do.

Its interesting... I struggled a little in my last post because 'he' didn't seem the right gender to post.

Should have went with my instinct no?

Thanks for validating and clarifying with your imagery. :)

Nice frog too!

Nice looking frog would be nice to see animated. Your head model looks real good too.

I have some actions for it already from the tongue zinging out to the burb and working on the jump and walk. I'm not too crazy about my rig, I kind of slapped it together so I may go and fiddle with some of the weights. Seems to work ok but there are a few joints that if moved too much will crease.

Yup, not sure how sensitive this forum is and didn't want to get booted lol

;) Just add a "nudity" or something in the title and you are fine.

In the end it is an artform and I hope nobody will find David from Michaelangelo offensive.

I mean it is 500 years old masterpiece-sclupture and you can find pictures from it everywhere...
