zandoriastudios Posted April 15, 2006 Posted April 15, 2006 Did a render of this for Steve for the Youth theater group that is doing a play of "Tinwoodsman of Oz". the original is 2400 x 3600pixels, but I scaled it down to show here Quote
mtpeak2 Posted April 15, 2006 Posted April 15, 2006 Nice pic Will. I see the elbow problem is back, I assume the model was reverted to an older revision. Let me know when you are done texturing so the elbow and shoulder can be fixed, I don't want any problems this time. Thanks. Quote
DarkLimit Posted April 15, 2006 Posted April 15, 2006 Wow thats such a sweet render....great job will...... Quote
Paul Forwood Posted April 15, 2006 Posted April 15, 2006 Beautiful, Will, but it does really show how much Tinny needs some engraving to keep him in the foreground. I love that metal and the castle is looking awesome! Quote

I had to go back to an earlier backup because of missing 5 point patches . I haven't started re-decalling. send me an email when you have the fix, and I will redo the decals. Quote
pdaley Posted April 15, 2006 Posted April 15, 2006 Scale it down a little Will. I'm almost starting to think we're working on a real movie with stuff like that . Quote
Leo73 Posted April 15, 2006 Posted April 15, 2006 Simply amazing Will. All of you working on this film are doing an incredible job. Keep up the great work. Quote
mtpeak2 Posted April 15, 2006 Posted April 15, 2006 Will, tinmans all yours. Shoulder and elbow fixed. Shoulder fix is shown in the two rigging. Quote
KenH Posted April 15, 2006 Posted April 15, 2006 Cool. There just has to be TWO desktop backgrounds at some stage. Quote
Admin Rodney Posted April 15, 2006 Admin Posted April 15, 2006 Beautiful render Will. What a great poster for the play. It makes me wonder what fonts we might use to complement such imagery. Anyone know? Here's a look at what it might look with the title. I went with 'Tin Woodman' because I couldn't remember if we officially made a choice on the title. Quote
zandoriastudios Posted April 15, 2006 Author Posted April 15, 2006 Wouldn't it be cool to get 3D World to do an article about this project!? here's for inspiration: Quote
KenH Posted April 15, 2006 Posted April 15, 2006 Nice title. It would be cool if we could put abit of fairy dust round the Oz word. Just to add that extra element of fantasy and fun. Edit: Oh you cheeky sod Will! I can definitely see that. I was just thinking of a dvd dust cover a second ago. Edit2: What's 3D world's email. It can't hurt to let them know about the project..... trajcedrv Posted April 16, 2006 Posted April 16, 2006 TWO is gonna be one lovely lookin' movie! Great work Will! Quote
Admin Rodney Posted April 16, 2006 Admin Posted April 16, 2006 Any guesses on how many seconds it would take for me to purchase that issue of 3D World if I saw it on the shelf? Quote
dborruso Posted April 16, 2006 Posted April 16, 2006 That image is certainly worthy of a 3dworld cover. I wish it would come true. Quote
KenH Posted April 16, 2006 Posted April 16, 2006 TWO seconds? PS Tinmans hands look massive in that picture! PPS Where's the guy who made Scarecrow? Haven't seen him round in a while. His names on the tip of my tongue.... Quote
zandoriastudios Posted April 16, 2006 Author Posted April 16, 2006 I think his name is Heslip.... he's from Ireland. He's got a squirrel for an avatar [he's a bit nuts...] Quote
