Yes, but mostly for the real world stuff I do. Not so much for the 3D work

Working on it It is one of my goals this month.

Sadly it has been a rock in the real world and not one of AM patches

 

I have been mostly working on physical props for movies and TV, like this goofy little guy. (These are photos, not AM renders)

It's like the return of Paul Atreides in "Children of Dune"... only with out the blindness... and all the sand... not as many worms.

 

Or like... when you think the governor of California is blown up in the gas truck while chasing Catherine Chandler... but he crawls out of the wreckage... with only a slight limp.

 

Or when you thought Catherine Tramell was shot dead by Maximus but she comes back to shoot Lex Luther right in the head.

 

I could go on... but I won't.

This was an underestimate. The construction of modern computers, logically similar to Babbage's design, have changed the whole of mathematics and it is even not an exaggeration to say that they have changed the whole world.

Interesting... I actaully have a great-grandparrent that was in the team that created IBM's first computer, if I don't remember incorrectly.

If you mean the alien pics, those are NOT AM: renders, just photos.

 

Are you relatives?

My grandfather said he was a great, great, great, uncle. I was indeed named after him.

 

For those interested the best bio on him I have read in called "The Difference Engine" (US title) or "The Cogwheel Brain" (UK title) by Doron Swade.

 

Charles babbage also invented skeleton keys, the first speedometer for railroads, and the locomotive pilot (cowcatcher)
